We give thanks unto thee, O God;
We give thanks, {Or, for that thy name is near Thy wonderous works declare}for thy name is near:
Men tell of thy wondrous works.

2 wird geladen ... When I shall {Hebrew: take.}find the set time,
I will judge uprightly.

3 wird geladen ... {Or, When the earth…I set up}The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved:
I have {Hebrew: proportioned.}set up the pillars of it.

4 wird geladen ... I said unto the {Or, fools}arrogant, Deal not arrogantly;
And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 wird geladen ... Lift not up your horn on high;
Speak not {Or, insolently with a haughty neck}with a stiff neck.

6 wird geladen ... For neither from the east, nor from the west,
Nor yet {Or, from the wilderness of mountains cometh judgment}from the {Hebrew: wilderness.}south, cometh lifting up.

7 wird geladen ... But God is the judge:
He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.

8 wird geladen ... For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine {Or, is red}foameth;
It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same:
Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.

9 wird geladen ... But I will declare for ever,
I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 wird geladen ... All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off;
But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.

Ps 78,71 wird geladen ... From following the ewes that have their young he brought him,To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

Ps 78,72 wird geladen ... So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart,And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

Then said Saul to his armorbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and {Or, make a mock of me}abuse me. But his armorbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.

Jes 24,1 wird geladen ... Behold, Jehovah maketh the {Or, land (and so in verse 3, 4, &c.)}earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Jes 24,2 wird geladen ... And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him.

Jes 24,3 wird geladen ... The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.

Jes 24,4 wird geladen ... The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, {Or, the high ones of the people}the lofty people of the earth do languish.

Jes 24,5 wird geladen ... The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.

Jes 24,6 wird geladen ... Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Jes 24,7 wird geladen ... The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merry-hearted do sigh.

Jes 24,8 wird geladen ... The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

Jes 24,9 wird geladen ... They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

Jes 24,10 wird geladen ... The waste city is broken down; every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

Jes 24,11 wird geladen ... There is a crying in the streets because of the wine; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is {Hebrew: gone into captivity.}gone.

Jes 24,12 wird geladen ... In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

Jes 49,8 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to {Or, establish the earth}raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages:
