2 wird geladen ... I am Jehovah thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of {Hebrew: bondmen.}bondage.

3 wird geladen ... Thou shalt have no other gods {Or, besides me}before me.

4 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

5 wird geladen ... thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,

6 wird geladen ... and showing lovingkindness unto {Or, a thousand generations}thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

7 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God {Or, for vanity (or, falsehood)}in vain; for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name {Or, for vanity (or, falsehood)}in vain.

8 wird geladen ... Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 wird geladen ... Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work;

10 wird geladen ... but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 wird geladen ... for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Jehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 wird geladen ... Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

13 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not kill.

14 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not steal.

16 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

17 wird geladen ... Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

18 wird geladen ... And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they {Or, were moved}trembled, and stood afar off.

19 wird geladen ... And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

20 wird geladen ... And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.

21 wird geladen ... And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

22 wird geladen ... And Jehovah said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

23 wird geladen ... Ye shall not make other gods with me; gods of silver, or gods of gold, ye shall not make unto you.

24 wird geladen ... An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt-offerings, and thy peace-offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in every place where I {Or, cause my name to be rememebered}record my name I will come unto thee and I will bless thee.

25 wird geladen ... And if thou make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

26 wird geladen ... Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon.

5Mo 4,19 wird geladen ... and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, thou be drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Jehovah thy God hath allotted unto all the peoples under the whole heaven.

5Mo 4,23 wird geladen ... Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of Jehovah your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image in the form of anything which Jehovah thy God hath forbidden thee.

5Mo 4,24 wird geladen ... For Jehovah thy God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.

5Mo 4,25 wird geladen ... When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah thy God, to provoke him to anger;

Jes 40,18 wird geladen ... To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

Jes 40,19 wird geladen ... The image, a workman hath cast it, and the goldsmith overlayeth it with gold, and casteth for it silver chains.

Jes 40,20 wird geladen ... He that is too impoverished for such an oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a skilful workman to {Or, prepare}set up a graven image, that shall not be moved.

Jes 42,8 wird geladen ... I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images.

Jes 42,17 wird geladen ... They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.

Jes 44,9 wird geladen ... They that fashion a graven image are all of them {Or, confusion}vanity; and the things that they delight in shall not profit; and their own witnesses see not, nor know: that they may be put to shame.

Jes 44,10 wird geladen ... Who hath fashioned a god, or molten an image that is profitable for nothing?

Jes 44,11 wird geladen ... Behold, {Or, all that join themselves thereto}all his fellows shall be put to shame; and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; they shall fear, they shall be put to shame together.

Jes 44,12 wird geladen ... The smith {Or, sharpeneth a tool}maketh an axe, and worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with his strong arm: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth; he drinketh no water, and is faint.

Jes 44,13 wird geladen ... The carpenter stretcheth out a line; he marketh it out with {Or, red ochre}a pencil; he shapeth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compasses, and shapeth it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house.

Jes 44,14 wird geladen ... He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the holm-tree and the oak, and strengtheneth for himself one among the trees of the forest: he planteth {Or, an ash}a fir-tree, and the rain doth nourish it.

Jes 44,15 wird geladen ... Then shall it be for a man to burn; and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread: yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

Jes 44,16 wird geladen ... He burneth {Or, the half}part thereof in the fire; with {Or, the half}part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied; yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.

Jes 44,17 wird geladen ... And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

Jes 44,18 wird geladen ... They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath {Hebrew: daubed.}shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Jes 44,19 wird geladen ... And none calleth to mind, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

Jes 44,20 wird geladen ... He feedeth on ashes; a deceived heart hath turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Jes 45,16 wird geladen ... They shall be put to shame, yea, confounded, all of them; they shall go into confusion together that are makers of idols.

Jes 46,5 wird geladen ... To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?

Jes 46,6 wird geladen ... Such as lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, they hire a goldsmith, and he maketh it a god; they fall down, yea, they worship.

Jes 46,7 wird geladen ... They bear it upon the shoulder, they carry it, and set it in its place, and it standeth, from its place shall it not remove: yea, one may cry unto it, yet can it not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

Jes 46,8 wird geladen ... Remember this, and {Or, stand fast}show yourselves men; bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.

Jer 10,3 wird geladen ... For the {Hebrew: statues.}customs of the peoples are vanity; for {Or, it is but a tree which one cutteth}one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.

Jer 10,4 wird geladen ... They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer 10,5 wird geladen ... They are like a {Or, pillar}palm-tree, of turned work, and speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.

Jer 10,8 wird geladen ... But they are {Or, through one thing}together brutish and foolish: {Or, the stock is a doctrine of vanities}the instruction of idols! it is but a stock.

Jer 10,9 wird geladen ... There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the artificer and of the hands of the goldsmith; blue and purple for their clothing; they are all the work of skilful men.

Jer 10,14 wird geladen ... Every man {Or, is too brutish to know}is become brutish and is without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his graven image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Jer 10,15 wird geladen ... They are vanity, a work of {Or, mockery}delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

Jer 10,16 wird geladen ... The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

Hes 8,10 wird geladen ... So I went in and saw; and behold, every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.
