1 wird geladen ... Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us,
But unto thy name give glory,
For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.

2 wird geladen ... Wherefore should the nations say,
Where is now their God?

3 wird geladen ... But our God is in the heavens:
He hath done whatsoever he pleased.

4 wird geladen ... Their idols are silver and gold,
The work of men's hands.

5 wird geladen ... They have mouths, but they speak not;
Eyes have they, but they see not;

6 wird geladen ... They have ears, but they hear not;
Noses have they, but they smell not;

7 wird geladen ... They have hands, but they handle not;
Feet have they, but they walk not;
Neither speak they through their throat.

8 wird geladen ... They that make them shall be like unto them;
Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

9 wird geladen ... O Israel, trust thou in Jehovah:
He is their help and their shield.

10 wird geladen ... O house of Aaron, trust ye in Jehovah:
He is their help and their shield.

11 wird geladen ... Ye that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah:
He is their help and their shield.

12 wird geladen ... Jehovah hath been mindful of us;
He will bless us:
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.

13 wird geladen ... He will bless them that fear Jehovah,
Both small and great.

14 wird geladen ... Jehovah increase you more and more,
You and your children.

15 wird geladen ... Blessed are ye of Jehovah,
Who made heaven and earth.

16 wird geladen ... The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah;
But the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 wird geladen ... The dead praise not {Hebrew: Jah.}Jehovah,
Neither any that go down into silence;

18 wird geladen ... But we will bless {Hebrew: Jah.}Jehovah
From this time forth and for evermore.
{Hebrew: Hallelujah.}Praise ye Jehovah.

Jes 40,20 wird geladen ... He that is too impoverished for such an oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a skilful workman to {Or, prepare}set up a graven image, that shall not be moved.

Jes 42,17 wird geladen ... They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.

Jes 46,1 wird geladen ... Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth; their idols are upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: the things that ye carried about are made a load, a burden to the weary beast.

Jes 46,2 wird geladen ... They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.

Jes 46,6 wird geladen ... Such as lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, they hire a goldsmith, and he maketh it a god; they fall down, yea, they worship.

Jes 46,7 wird geladen ... They bear it upon the shoulder, they carry it, and set it in its place, and it standeth, from its place shall it not remove: yea, one may cry unto it, yet can it not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

Jer 10,3 wird geladen ... For the {Hebrew: statues.}customs of the peoples are vanity; for {Or, it is but a tree which one cutteth}one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.

Jer 10,4 wird geladen ... They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer 10,5 wird geladen ... They are like a {Or, pillar}palm-tree, of turned work, and speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.

Hos 8,6 wird geladen ... For from Israel is even this; the workman made it, and it is no God; yea, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

Hab 2,18 wird geladen ... What profiteth the graven image, that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, even the teacher of lies, that he that fashioneth its form trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?

Hab 2,19 wird geladen ... Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise! Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
