1 wird geladen ... In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Set thy house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2 wird geladen ... Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Jehovah,

3 wird geladen ... and said, Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

4 wird geladen ... Then came the word of Jehovah to Isaiah, saying,

5 wird geladen ... Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

6 wird geladen ... And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city.

7 wird geladen ... And this shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do this thing that he hath spoken:

8 wird geladen ... behold, I will cause the shadow on the steps, which is gone down on the {Hebrew: steps.}dial of Ahaz {Or, by}with the sun, to return backward ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps {Or, by which steps it &c.}on the dial whereon it was gone down.

9 wird geladen ... The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness.

10 wird geladen ... I said, In the {Or, tranquility}noontide of my days I shall go into the gates of Sheol:
I am deprived of the residue of my years.

11 wird geladen ... I said, I shall not see {Hebrew: Jah.}Jehovah, even {Hebrew: Jah.}Jehovah in the land of the living:
I shall behold man no more {Or, when I am among them that have ceased to be}with the inhabitants of the world.

12 wird geladen ... My dwelling is removed, and is carried away from me as a shepherd's tent:
I have rolled up, like a weaver, my life; he will cut me off from the {Hebrew: thrum.}loom:
From day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

13 wird geladen ... {Or, I thought until morning, As a lion, o will he break &c.}I quieted myself until morning; as a lion, so he breaketh all my bones:
From day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

14 wird geladen ... Like a swallow or a crane, so did I chatter;
I did moan as a dove; mine eyes fail with looking upward:
O Lord, I am oppressed, be thou my surety.

15 wird geladen ... What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it:
I shall go {Or, as in solemn procession See Psalm 42:4.}softly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.

16 wird geladen ... O Lord, by these things men live;
And wholly therein is the life of my spirit:
{Or, So wilt thou recover me}Wherefore recover thou me, and make me to live.

17 wird geladen ... Behold, it was for my peace that I had great bitterness:
But {Hebrew: thou hast loved my soul from the pit.}thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of {Or, nothingness}corruption;
For thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

18 wird geladen ... For Sheol cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee:
They that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

19 wird geladen ... The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day:
The father to the children shall make known thy truth.

20 wird geladen ... Jehovah is ready to save me:
Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments
All the days of our life in the house of Jehovah.

21 wird geladen ... Now Isaiah had said, Let them take a cake of figs, and lay it for a plaster upon the boil, and he shall recover.

22 wird geladen ... Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of Jehovah?

Jes 12,1 wird geladen ... And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, {Or, let thine anger turn away, and comfort thou me}thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.

Jes 12,6 wird geladen ... Cry aloud and shout, thou {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

2Mo 15,6 wird geladen ... Thy right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power,Thy right hand, O Jehovah, dasheth in pieces the enemy.

2Mo 15,11 wird geladen ... Who is like unto thee, O Jehovah, among the gods?Who is like thee, glorious in holiness,Fearful in praises, doing wonders?

2Mo 15,13 wird geladen ... Thou in thy lovingkindness hast led the people that thou hast redeemed:Thou hast guided them in thy strength to thy holy habitation.

2Mo 15,15 wird geladen ... Then were the chiefs of Edom dismayed;The {Hebrew: rams.}mighty men of Moab, trembling taketh hold upon them:All the inhabitants of Canaan are melted away.

2Mo 15,16 wird geladen ... Terror and dread falleth upon them;By the greatness of thine arm they are as still as a stone;Till thy people pass over, O Jehovah,Till the people pass over that thou hast {Hebrew: gotten.}purchased.

2Mo 15,17 wird geladen ... Thou wilt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance,The place, O Jehovah, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in,The sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

2Mo 15,19 wird geladen ... For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Jehovah brought back the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.

2Mo 15,20 wird geladen ... And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

2Mo 15,21 wird geladen ... And Miriam answered them,Sing ye to Jehovah, for he {Or, is highly exalted}hath triumphed gloriously;The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Ri 5,6 wird geladen ... In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath,In the days of Jael, {Or, the caravans ceased}the highways were unoccupied,And the travellers walked through {Hebrew: crooked ways.}byways.

Ri 5,7 wird geladen ... {Or, The villages were unoccupied}The rulers ceased in Israel, they ceased,Until that I Deborah arose,That I arose a mother in Israel.

Ri 5,8 wird geladen ... They chose new gods;Then was war in the gates:Was there a shield or spear seenAmong forty thousand in Israel?

Jona 2,7 wird geladen ... When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah;And my prayer came in unto thee, into thy holy temple.

Jona 2,8 wird geladen ... They that regard lying vanitiesForsake their own mercy.

Jona 2,9 wird geladen ... But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving;I will pay that which I have vowed.Salvation is of Jehovah.
