Vers

1 wird geladen ... Behold, Jehovah maketh the {Or, land (and so in verse 3, 4, &c.)}earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

2 wird geladen ... And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him.

3 wird geladen ... The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.

4 wird geladen ... The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, {Or, the high ones of the people}the lofty people of the earth do languish.

5 wird geladen ... The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.

6 wird geladen ... Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

7 wird geladen ... The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merry-hearted do sigh.

8 wird geladen ... The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

9 wird geladen ... They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

10 wird geladen ... The waste city is broken down; every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

11 wird geladen ... There is a crying in the streets because of the wine; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is {Hebrew: gone into captivity.}gone.

12 wird geladen ... In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

13 wird geladen ... For thus shall it be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, as the {Hebrew: beating.}shaking of an olive-tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.

14 wird geladen ... These shall lift up their voice, they shall shout; for the majesty of Jehovah they cry aloud from the sea.

15 wird geladen ... Wherefore glorify ye Jehovah in the {Or, lights Or, fire}east, even the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, in the {Or, coast-lands}isles of the sea.

16 wird geladen ... From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs: Glory to the righteous.
But I said, {Hebrew: Leanness to me.}I pine away, I pine away, woe is me! the treacherous have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

17 wird geladen ... Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

18 wird geladen ... And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.

19 wird geladen ... The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth is shaken violently.

20 wird geladen ... The earth shall stagger like a drunken man, and shall sway to and fro like a hammock; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.

21 wird geladen ... And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will {Hebrew: visit upon.}punish the host of the {Hebrew: height.}high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 wird geladen ... And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the {Or, dungeon.}pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be {Or, punished}visited.

23 wird geladen ... Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Jehovah of hosts will reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem; and before his elders shall be glory.

Jes 24,17 wird geladen ... Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

Jer 38,6 wird geladen ... Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the {Or, pit}dungeon of Malchijah {Or, the son of Hammelech}the king's son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire.

Jer 38,7 wird geladen ... Now when Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a eunuch, who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon (the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin),

Jer 38,8 wird geladen ... Ebed-melech went forth out of the king's house, and spake to the king, saying,

Jer 38,9 wird geladen ... My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and {Hebrew: he is dead.}he is like to die in the place where he is, because of the famine; for there is no more bread in the city.

Jer 38,10 wird geladen ... Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.

Jer 38,11 wird geladen ... So Ebed-melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence rags and worn-out garments, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.

Jer 38,12 wird geladen ... And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these rags and worn-out garments under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.

Jer 38,13 wird geladen ... So they drew up Jeremiah with the cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

Jes 2,19 wird geladen ... And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the {Hebrew: dust.}earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

Jos 10,23 wird geladen ... And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon.

Jos 10,24 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, when they brought forth those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the chiefs of the men of war that went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

Jos 10,25 wird geladen ... And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage: for thus shall Jehovah do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

Jos 10,26 wird geladen ... And afterward Joshua smote them, and put them to death, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
