I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart,
In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 wird geladen ... The works of Jehovah are great,
Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 wird geladen ... His work is honor and majesty;
And his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 wird geladen ... He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered:
Jehovah is gracious and merciful.

5 wird geladen ... He hath given {Hebrew: prey.}food unto them that fear him:
He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 wird geladen ... He hath showed his people the power of his works,
In giving them the heritage of the nations.

7 wird geladen ... The works of his hands are truth and justice;
All his precepts are sure.

8 wird geladen ... They are established for ever and ever;
They are {Or, made}done in truth and uprightness.

9 wird geladen ... He hath sent redemption unto his people;
He hath commanded his covenant for ever:
Holy and reverend is his name.

10 wird geladen ... The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom;

His praise endureth for ever.

Ps 78,12 wird geladen ... Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers,In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

Ps 78,13 wird geladen ... He clave the sea, and caused them to pass through;And he made the waters to stand as a heap.

Ps 78,14 wird geladen ... In the day-time also he led them with a cloud,And all the night with a light of fire.

Ps 78,15 wird geladen ... He clave rocks in the wilderness,And gave them drink abundantly as out of the depths.

Ps 78,16 wird geladen ... He brought streams also out of the rock,And caused waters to run down like rivers.

Ps 78,17 wird geladen ... Yet went they on still to sin against him,To rebel against the Most High in {Or, a dry land}the desert.

Ps 78,18 wird geladen ... And they tempted God in their heartBy asking food {Or, for themselves}according to their desire.

Ps 78,19 wird geladen ... Yea, they spake against God;They said, Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?

Ps 78,20 wird geladen ... Behold, he smote the rock, so that waters gushed out,And streams overflowed;Can he give bread also?Will he provide flesh for his people?

Ps 78,21 wird geladen ... Therefore Jehovah heard, and was wroth;And a fire was kindled against Jacob,And anger also went up against Israel;

Ps 78,22 wird geladen ... Because they believed not in God,And trusted not in his salvation.

Ps 78,23 wird geladen ... Yet he commanded the skies above,And opened the doors of heaven;

Ps 78,24 wird geladen ... And he rained down manna upon them to eat,And gave them {Hebrew: grain.}food from heaven.

Ps 78,25 wird geladen ... {Or, Every one}Man did eat the bread of the mighty:He sent them food to the full.

Ps 78,26 wird geladen ... He {Hebrew: led forth the east wind.}caused the east wind to blow in the heavens;And by his power he guided the south wind.

Ps 78,27 wird geladen ... He rained flesh also upon them as the dust,And winged birds as the sand of the seas:

Ps 78,28 wird geladen ... And he let it fall in the midst of their camp,Round about their habitations.

Ps 78,29 wird geladen ... So they did eat, and were well filled;And he gave them their own desire.

Ps 78,30 wird geladen ... They were not estranged from that which they desired,Their food was yet in their mouths,

Ps 78,31 wird geladen ... When the anger of God went up against them,And slew of the fattest of them,And smote down the young men of Israel.

Ps 78,32 wird geladen ... For all this they sinned still,And believed not in his wondrous works.

Ps 78,33 wird geladen ... Therefore their days did he consume in vanity,And their years in terror.

Ps 78,34 wird geladen ... When he slew them, then they inquired after him;And they returned and sought God earnestly.

Ps 78,35 wird geladen ... And they remembered that God was their rock,And the Most High God their redeemer.

Ps 78,36 wird geladen ... But they flattered him with their mouth,And lied unto him with their tongue.

Ps 78,37 wird geladen ... For their heart was not {Or, stedfast}right with him,Neither were they faithful in his covenant.

Ps 78,38 wird geladen ... But he, being merciful, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not:Yea, many a time turned he his anger away,And did not stir up all his wrath.

Ps 78,39 wird geladen ... And he remembered that they were but flesh,A wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

Ps 78,40 wird geladen ... How oft did they rebel against him in the wilderness,And grieve him in the desert!

Ps 78,41 wird geladen ... And they turned again and tempted God,And {Or, limited}provoked the Holy One of Israel.

Ps 78,42 wird geladen ... They remembered not his hand,Nor the day when he redeemed them from the adversary;

Ps 78,43 wird geladen ... How he set his signs in Egypt,And his wonders in the field of Zoan,

Ps 78,44 wird geladen ... And turned their rivers into blood,And their streams, so that they could not drink.

Ps 78,45 wird geladen ... He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them;And frogs, which destroyed them.

Ps 78,46 wird geladen ... He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar,And their labor unto the locust.

Ps 78,47 wird geladen ... He {Hebrew: killed.}destroyed their vines with hail,And their sycomore-trees with {Or, great hailstones}frost.

Ps 78,48 wird geladen ... He gave over their cattle also to the hail,And their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

Ps 78,49 wird geladen ... He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger,Wrath, and indignation, and trouble, {Hebrew: A sending.}A band of angels of evil.

Ps 78,50 wird geladen ... He {Hebrew: levelled.}made a path for his anger;He spared not their soul from death,But gave {Or, their beasts to the murrain}their life over to the pestilence,

Ps 78,51 wird geladen ... And smote all the first-born in Egypt,The {Hebrew: beginning. See Deuteronomy 21:17.}chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.

Ps 78,52 wird geladen ... But he led forth his own people like sheep,And guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

Ps 78,53 wird geladen ... And he led them safely, so that they feared not;But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

Ps 78,54 wird geladen ... And he brought them to {Or, his holy border}the border of his sanctuary,To this {Or, mountain land}mountain, which his right hand had gotten.

Ps 78,55 wird geladen ... He drove out the nations also before them,And allotted them for an inheritance by line,And made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

Ps 78,56 wird geladen ... Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God,And kept not his testimonies;

Ps 78,57 wird geladen ... But turned back, and dealt treacherously like their fathers:They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

Ps 78,58 wird geladen ... For they provoked him to anger with their high places,And moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

Ps 78,59 wird geladen ... When God heard this, he was wroth,And greatly abhorred Israel;

Ps 78,60 wird geladen ... So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh,The tent which he placed among men;

Ps 78,61 wird geladen ... And delivered his strength into captivity,And his glory into the adversary's hand.

Ps 78,62 wird geladen ... He gave his people over also unto the sword,And was wroth with his inheritance.

Ps 78,63 wird geladen ... Fire devoured their young men;And their virgins had no marriage-song.

Ps 78,64 wird geladen ... Their priests fell by the sword;And their widows made no lamentation.

Ps 78,65 wird geladen ... Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep,Like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.

Ps 78,66 wird geladen ... And he smote his adversaries backward:He put them to a perpetual reproach.

Ps 78,67 wird geladen ... Moreover he refused the tent of Joseph,And chose not the tribe of Ephraim,

Ps 78,68 wird geladen ... But chose the tribe of Judah,The mount Zion which he loved.

Ps 78,69 wird geladen ... And he built his sanctuary like the heights,Like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Ps 78,70 wird geladen ... He chose David also his servant,And took him from the sheepfolds:

Ps 78,71 wird geladen ... From following the ewes that have their young he brought him,To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

Ps 78,72 wird geladen ... So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart,And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

Ps 2,8 wird geladen ... Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance,And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Ps 105,27 wird geladen ... They set among them {Hebrew: the words of his signs.}his signs,And wonders in the land of Ham.

Ps 105,28 wird geladen ... He sent darkness, and made it dark;And they rebelled not against his words.

Ps 105,29 wird geladen ... He turned their waters into blood,And slew their fish.

Ps 105,30 wird geladen ... Their land swarmed with frogsIn the chambers of their kings.

Ps 105,31 wird geladen ... He spake, and there came swarms of flies,And lice in all their borders.

Ps 105,33 wird geladen ... He smote their vines also and their fig-trees,And brake the trees of their borders.

Ps 105,34 wird geladen ... He spake, and the locust came,And the grasshopper, and that without number,

Ps 105,35 wird geladen ... And did eat up every herb in their land,And did eat up the fruit of their ground.

Ps 105,36 wird geladen ... He smote also all the first-born in their land,The {Hebrew: beginning. See Deuteronomy 21:17.}chief of all their strength.

Ps 105,37 wird geladen ... And he brought them forth with silver and gold;And there was {Or, none that stumbled}not one feeble person among his tribes.

Ps 105,38 wird geladen ... Egypt was glad when they departed;For the fear of them had fallen upon them.

Ps 105,39 wird geladen ... He spread a cloud for a covering,And fire to give light in the night.

Ps 105,40 wird geladen ... They asked, and he brought quails,And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

Ps 105,41 wird geladen ... He opened the rock, and waters gushed out;They ran in the dry places like a river.

Ps 105,42 wird geladen ... For he remembered his holy word,And Abraham his servant.

Ps 105,43 wird geladen ... And he brought forth his people with joy,And his chosen with singing.

Ps 105,44 wird geladen ... And he gave them the lands of the nations;And they took the labor of the peoples in possession:

Ps 105,45 wird geladen ... That they might keep his statutes,And observe his laws. {Hebrew: Hallelujah.}Praise ye Jehovah.

Ps 44,2 wird geladen ... Thou didst drive out the nations with thy hand;But them thou didst plant:Thou didst afflict the peoples;But them thou didst spread abroad.

5Mo 4,32 wird geladen ... For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and from the one end of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

5Mo 4,33 wird geladen ... Did ever a people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

5Mo 4,35 wird geladen ... Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that Jehovah he is God; there is none else besides him.

5Mo 4,36 wird geladen ... Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he made thee to see his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.

5Mo 4,37 wird geladen ... And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;

5Mo 4,38 wird geladen ... to drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as at this day.

Ps 78,55 wird geladen ... He drove out the nations also before them,And allotted them for an inheritance by line,And made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

Jos 3,14 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over the Jordan, the priests that bare the ark of the covenant being before the people;

Jos 10,14 wird geladen ... And there was no day like that before it or after it, that Jehovah hearkened unto the voice of a man: for Jehovah fought for Israel.
