RememberH2142 AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and IsraelH3478, thy servantsH5650, to whom thou swarestH7650 by thine own self, and saidstH1696 unto them, I will multiplyH7235 your seedH2233 as the starsH3556 of heavenH8064, and all this landH776 that I have spokenH559 of will I giveH5414 unto your seedH2233, and they shall inheritH5157 it for everH5769.
For they be thy peopleH5971, and thine inheritanceH5159, which thou broughtest forthH3318 out of EgyptH4714, from the midstH8432 of the furnaceH3564 of ironH1270:
That thine eyesH5869 may be openH6605 unto the supplicationH8467 of thy servantH5650, and unto the supplicationH8467 of thy peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, to hearkenH8085 unto them in all that they callH7121 for unto thee.
For thou didst separateH914 them from among all the peopleH5971 of the earthH776, to be thine inheritanceH5159, as thou spakestH1696 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872 thy servantH5650, when thou broughtestH3318 our fathersH1 out of EgyptH4714, O LordH136 GODH3069.
NowG1161 to AbrahamG11 andG2532 hisG846 seedG4690 wereG4483 the promisesG1860 madeG4483. He saithG3004 notG3756, AndG2532 to seedsG4690, asG5613 ofG1909 manyG4183; butG235 asG5613 ofG1909 oneG1520, AndG2532 to thyG4675 seedG4690, whichG3739 isG2076 ChristG5547.
AndG1161 thisG5124 I sayG3004, that the covenantG1242, that was confirmed beforeG4300 ofG5259 GodG2316 inG1519 ChristG5547, the lawG3551, which wasG1096 four hundredG5071 andG2532 thirtyG5144 yearsG2094 afterG3326, cannotG3756 disannulG208, thatG1519 it should makeG2673 the promiseG1860 of none effectG2673.
ForG1063 ifG1487 the inheritanceG2817 be ofG1537 the lawG3551, it is no moreG3765 ofG1537 promiseG1860: butG1161 GodG2316 gaveG5483 it to AbrahamG11 byG1223 promiseG1860.
WhereforeG5101 thenG3767 serveth the lawG3551? It was addedG4369 because ofG5484 transgressionsG3847, tillG891+G3739 the seedG4690 should comeG2064 to whomG3739 the promise was madeG1861; and it was ordainedG1299 byG1223 angelsG32 inG1722 the handG5495 of a mediatorG3316.
NowG1161 a mediatorG3316 isG2076 notG3756 a mediator of oneG1520, butG1161 GodG2316 isG2076 oneG1520.
Therefore my heartH3820 is gladH8055, and my gloryH3519 rejoicethH1523: my fleshH1320 also shall restH7931 in hopeH983. {rest…: Heb. dwell confidently}
For thou wilt not leaveH5800 my soulH5315 in hellH7585; neither wilt thou sufferH5414 thine Holy OneH2623 to seeH7200 corruptionH7845.
Thou wilt shewH3045 me the pathH734 of lifeH2416: in thy presenceH6440 is fulnessH7648 of joyH8057; at thy right handH3225 there are pleasuresH5273 for evermoreH5331.
Thou hast ascendedH5927 on highH4791, thou hast led captivityH7628 captiveH7617: thou hast receivedH3947 giftsH4979 for menH120; yea, for the rebelliousH5637 also, that the LORDH3050 GodH430 might dwellH7931 among them. {for men: Heb. in the man}
A PsalmH4210 of DavidH1732. The LORDH3068 saidH5002 unto my LordH113, SitH3427 thou at my right handH3225, until I makeH7896 thine enemiesH341 thy footstoolH1916+H7272.
AndG1161 bothG2532 JesusG2424 was calledG2564, andG2532 hisG846 disciplesG3101, toG1519 the marriageG1062.
AndG2532 when they wantedG5302 wineG3631, the motherG3384 of JesusG2424 saithG3004 untoG4314 himG846, They haveG2192 noG3756 wineG3631.
The sameG3778 cameG2064 toG4314 JesusG2424 by nightG3571, andG2532 saidG2036 unto himG846, RabbiG4461, we knowG1492 thatG3754 thou artG2064 a teacherG1320 comeG2064 fromG575 GodG2316: forG1063 no manG3762 canG1410 doG4160 theseG5023 miraclesG4592 thatG3739 thouG4771 doestG4160, exceptG3362 GodG2316 beG5600 withG3326 himG846.
IfG1508 I hadG2064 notG1508 comeG2064 andG2532 spokenG2980 unto themG846, they hadG2192 notG3756 hadG2192 sinG266: butG1161 nowG3568 they haveG2192 noG3756 clokeG4392 forG4012 theirG846 sinG266. {cloke: or, excuse}
He that hatethG3404 meG1691 hatethG3404 myG3450 FatherG3962 alsoG2532.
IfG1508 I hadG4160 notG1508 doneG4160 amongG1722 themG846 the worksG2041 whichG3739 noneG3762 other manG243 didG4160, they hadG2192 notG3756 hadG2192 sinG266: butG1161 nowG3568 have theyG3708 bothG2532 seenG3708 andG2532 hatedG3404 bothG2532 meG1691 andG2532 myG3450 FatherG3962.
NowG3568 isG2076 the judgmentG2920 of thisG5127 worldG2889: nowG3568 shallG1544 the princeG758 of thisG5127 worldG2889 be castG1544 outG1854.
And IG2504, ifG1437 I be lifted upG5312 fromG1537 the earthG1093, will drawG1670 allG3956 men untoG4314 meG1683.
ThisG5124 he saidG3004, signifyingG4591 whatG4169 deathG2288 he shouldG3195 dieG599.
ThereforeG5620 if any manG1536 be inG1722 ChristG5547, he is a newG2537 creatureG2937: old thingsG744 are passed awayG3928; beholdG2400, all thingsG3956 are becomeG1096 newG2537. {he is: or, let him be}
AndG1161 all thingsG3956 are ofG1537 GodG2316, whoG3588 hath reconciledG2644 usG2248 to himselfG1438 byG1223 JesusG2424 ChristG5547, andG2532 hath givenG1325 to usG2254 the ministryG1248 of reconciliationG2643;
To witG5613, thatG3754 GodG2316 wasG2258 inG1722 ChristG5547, reconcilingG2644 the worldG2889 unto himselfG1438, notG3361 imputingG3049 theirG846 trespassesG3900 unto themG846; andG2532 hath committedG5087 untoG1722 usG2254 the wordG3056 of reconciliationG2643. {committed…: Gr. put in us}
And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175 thy brotherH251, that he comeH935 not at all timesH6256 into the holyH6944 place withinH1004 the vailH6532 beforeH6440 the mercy seatH3727, which is upon the arkH727; that he dieH4191 not: for I will appearH7200 in the cloudH6051 upon the mercyH3727 seat.
And this shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 unto you: that in the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the tenthH6218 day of the monthH2320, ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315, and doH6213 no workH4399 at all, whether it be one of your own countryH249, or a strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481 amongH8432 you:
And the LORDH3068 GodH430 saidH559 unto the serpentH5175, Because thouH859 hast doneH6213 this, thou art cursedH779 above all cattleH929, and above every beastH2416 of the fieldH7704; upon thy bellyH1512 shalt thou goH3212, and dustH6083 shalt thou eatH398 all the daysH3117 of thy lifeH2416:
And I will putH7896 enmityH342 between thee and the womanH802, and between thy seedH2233 and her seedH2233; it shall bruiseH7779 thy headH7218, and thou shalt bruiseH7779 his heelH6119.
Unto the womanH802 he saidH559, I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 thy sorrowH6093 and thy conceptionH2032; in sorrowH6089 thou shalt bring forthH3205 childrenH1121; and thy desireH8669 shall be to thy husbandH376, and he shall ruleH4910 over thee. {to thy…: or, subject to thy husband}
And unto AdamH121 he saidH559, Because thou hast hearkenedH8085 unto the voiceH6963 of thy wifeH802, and hast eatenH398 of the treeH6086, of whichH834 I commanded theeH6680, sayingH559, Thou shalt not eatH398 of it: cursedH779 is the groundH127 for thy sake; in sorrowH6093 shalt thou eatH398 of it allH3605 the daysH3117 of thy lifeH2416;
Thorns alsoH6975 and thistlesH1863 shall it bring forthH6779 to thee; and thou shalt eatH398 the herbH6212 of the fieldH7704; {bring…: Heb. cause to bud}
In the sweatH2188 of thy faceH639 shalt thou eatH398 breadH3899, tillH5704 thou returnH7725 unto the groundH127; for out of it wast thou takenH3947: for dustH6083 thouH859 art, and unto dustH6083 shalt thou returnH7725.
And AdamH120 calledH7121 his wife'sH802 nameH8034 EveH2332; because she was the motherH517 of all livingH2416. {Eve: Heb. Chavah: that is Living}
Unto AdamH120 also and to his wifeH802 did the LORDH3068 GodH430 makeH6213 coatsH3801 of skinsH5785, and clothed themH3847.
By faithG4102 AbelG6 offeredG4374 unto GodG2316 a more excellentG4119 sacrificeG2378 thanG3844 CainG2535, byG1223 whichG3739 he obtained witnessG3140 that he wasG1511 righteousG1342, GodG2316 testifyingG3140 ofG1909 hisG846 giftsG1435: andG2532 byG1223 itG846 he being deadG599 yetG2089 speakethG2980. {yet…: or, is yet spoken of}
ForG3754 thisG3778 isG2076 the messageG31 thatG3739 ye heardG191 fromG575 the beginningG746, thatG2443 we should loveG25 one anotherG240. {message: or, commandment}
NotG3756 asG2531 CainG2535, who wasG2258 ofG1537 that wicked oneG4190, andG2532 slewG4969 hisG846 brotherG80. AndG2532 whereforeG5484+G5101 slewG4969 he himG846? BecauseG3754 his ownG846 worksG2041 wereG2258 evilG4190, andG1161 hisG846 brother'sG80 righteousG1342.
NowG1161 faithG4102 isG2076 the substanceG5287 of things hoped forG1679, the evidenceG1650 of thingsG4229 notG3756 seenG991. {substance: or, ground, or, confidence}
ForG1063 byG1722 itG5026 the eldersG4245 obtained a good reportG3140.
Through faithG4102 we understandG3539 that the worldsG165 were framedG2675 by the wordG4487 of GodG2316, soG1519 that things whichG3588 are seenG991 wereG1096 notG3361 madeG1096 ofG1537 things which do appearG5316.
By faithG4102 AbelG6 offeredG4374 unto GodG2316 a more excellentG4119 sacrificeG2378 thanG3844 CainG2535, byG1223 whichG3739 he obtained witnessG3140 that he wasG1511 righteousG1342, GodG2316 testifyingG3140 ofG1909 hisG846 giftsG1435: andG2532 byG1223 itG846 he being deadG599 yetG2089 speakethG2980. {yet…: or, is yet spoken of}
By faithG4102 EnochG1802 was translatedG3346 that he shouldG1492 notG3361 seeG1492 deathG2288; andG2532 wasG2147 notG3756 foundG2147, becauseG1360 GodG2316 had translatedG3346 himG846: forG1063 beforeG4253 hisG846 translationG3331 he had this testimonyG3140, that he pleasedG2100 GodG2316.
ButG1161 withoutG5565 faithG4102 it is impossibleG102 to pleaseG2100 him: forG1063 he that comethG4334 to GodG2316 mustG1163 believeG4100 thatG3754 he isG2076, andG2532 that he isG1096 a rewarderG3406 of them that diligently seekG1567 himG846.
By faithG4102 NoahG3575, being warned of GodG5537 ofG4012 things notG3369 seenG991 as yetG3369, moved with fearG2125, preparedG2680 an arkG2787 toG1519 the savingG4991 of hisG846 houseG3624; byG1223 the whichG3739 he condemnedG2632 the worldG2889, andG2532 becameG1096 heirG2818 of the righteousnessG1343 which is byG2596 faithG4102. {moved…: or, being wary}
And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 unto all the peopleH5971, Thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478, Your fathersH1 dweltH3427 on the other sideH5676 of the floodH5104 in old timeH5769, even TerahH8646, the fatherH1 of AbrahamH85, and the fatherH1 of NachorH5152: and they servedH5647 otherH312 godsH430.
And he saidH559, BlessedH1288 be the LORDH3068 GodH430 of ShemH8035; and CanaanH3667 shall beH1961 his servantH5650. {his servant: or, servant to them}
NowG1161 to AbrahamG11 andG2532 hisG846 seedG4690 wereG4483 the promisesG1860 madeG4483. He saithG3004 notG3756, AndG2532 to seedsG4690, asG5613 ofG1909 manyG4183; butG235 asG5613 ofG1909 oneG1520, AndG2532 to thyG4675 seedG4690, whichG3739 isG2076 ChristG5547.
And the LORDH3068 saidH559, I have surelyH7200 seenH7200 the afflictionH6040 of my peopleH5971 which are in EgyptH4714, and have heardH8085 their cryH6818 by reasonH6440 of their taskmastersH5065; for I knowH3045 their sorrowsH4341;
And I am come downH3381 to deliverH5337 them out of the handH3027 of the EgyptiansH4714, and to bringH5927 them up out of that landH776 unto a goodH2896 landH776 and a largeH7342, unto a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706; unto the placeH4725 of the CanaanitesH3669, and the HittitesH2850, and the AmoritesH567, and the PerizzitesH6522, and the HivitesH2340, and the JebusitesH2983.
Then the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Now shalt thou seeH7200 what I will doH6213 to PharaohH6547: for with a strongH2389 handH3027 shall he let them goH7971, and with a strongH2389 handH3027 shall he drive them outH1644 of his landH776.
And GodH430 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, and saidH559 unto him, I am the LORDH3068: {the LORD: or, JEHOVAH}
And I appearedH7200 unto AbrahamH85, unto IsaacH3327, and unto JacobH3290, by the name of GodH410 AlmightyH7706, but by my nameH8034 JEHOVAHH3068 was I not knownH3045 to them.
And I have also establishedH6965 my covenantH1285 with them, to giveH5414 them the landH776 of CanaanH3667, the landH776 of their pilgrimageH4033, wherein they were strangersH1481.
And I have also heardH8085 the groaningH5009 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, whomH834 the EgyptiansH4714 keep in bondageH5647; and I have rememberedH2142 my covenantH1285.
WhereforeH3651 sayH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, I am the LORDH3068, and I will bringH3318 you out from under the burdensH5450 of the EgyptiansH4714, and I will ridH5337 you out of their bondageH5656, and I will redeemH1350 you with a stretchedH5186 out armH2220, and with greatH1419 judgmentsH8201:
And I will takeH3947 you to me for a peopleH5971, and I will be to you a GodH430: and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430, which bringethH3318 you out from under the burdensH5450 of the EgyptiansH4714.
And I will bringH935 you in unto the landH776, concerning the which I did swearH5375+H3027 to giveH5414 it to AbrahamH85, to IsaacH3327, and to JacobH3290; and I will giveH5414 it you for an heritageH4181: I am the LORDH3068. {swear: Heb. lift up my hand}
And I will dwellH7931 amongH8432 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and will be their GodH430.
And they shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068 their GodH430, that brought them forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, that I may dwellH7931 amongH8432 them: I am the LORDH3068 their GodH430.
And I will hardenH2388 Pharaoh'sH6547 heartH3820, that he shall followH7291 afterH310 them; and I will be honouredH3513 upon PharaohH6547, and upon all his hostH2428; that the EgyptiansH4714 may knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068. And they didH6213 so.
Thou in thy mercyH2617 hast led forthH5148 the peopleH5971 whichH2098 thou hast redeemedH1350: thou hast guidedH5095 them in thy strengthH5797 unto thy holyH6944 habitationH5116.
Thou shalt bringH935 them in, and plantH5193 them in the mountainH2022 of thine inheritanceH5159, in the placeH4349, O LORDH3068, which thou hast madeH6466 for thee to dwell inH3427, in the SanctuaryH4720, O LordH136, which thy handsH3027 have establishedH3559.
Then sangH7891 MosesH4872 and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 this songH7892 unto the LORDH3068, and spakeH559, sayingH559, I will singH7891 unto the LORDH3068, for he hath triumphedH1342 gloriouslyH1342: the horseH5483 and his riderH7392 hath he thrownH7411 into the seaH3220.
The LORDH3050 is my strengthH5797 and songH2176, and he is become my salvationH3444: heH2088 is my GodH410, and I will prepare him an habitationH5115; my father'sH1 GodH430, and I will exaltH7311 him.
The LORDH3068 is a manH376 of warH4421: the LORDH3068 is his nameH8034.
Pharaoh'sH6547 chariotsH4818 and his hostH2428 hath he castH3384 into the seaH3220: his chosenH4005 captainsH7991 also are drownedH2883 in the RedH5488 seaH3220.
The depthsH8415 have coveredH3680 them: they sankH3381 into the bottomH4688 asH3644 a stoneH68.
Thy right handH3225, O LORDH3068, is become gloriousH142 in powerH3581: thy right handH3225, O LORDH3068, hath dashed in piecesH7492 the enemyH341.
And in the greatnessH7230 of thine excellencyH1347 thou hast overthrownH2040 them that rose up againstH6965 thee: thou sentest forthH7971 thy wrathH2740, which consumedH398 them as stubbleH7179.
And with the blastH7307 of thy nostrilsH639 the watersH4325 were gathered togetherH6192, the floodsH5140 stood uprightH5324 as an heapH5067, and the depthsH8415 were congealedH7087 in the heartH3820 of the seaH3220.
The enemyH341 saidH559, I will pursueH7291, I will overtakeH5381, I will divideH2505 the spoilH7998; my lustH5315 shall be satisfiedH4390 upon them; I will drawH7324 my swordH2719, my handH3027 shall destroyH3423 them. {destroy: or, repossess}
Thou didst blowH5398 with thy windH7307, the seaH3220 coveredH3680 them: they sankH6749 as leadH5777 in the mightyH117 watersH4325.
Who is like unto thee, O LORDH3068, among the godsH410? who is like thee, gloriousH142 in holinessH6944, fearfulH3372 in praisesH8416, doingH6213 wondersH6382? {gods: or, mighty ones?}
Thou stretchedst outH5186 thy right handH3225, the earthH776 swallowedH1104 them.
Thou in thy mercyH2617 hast led forthH5148 the peopleH5971 whichH2098 thou hast redeemedH1350: thou hast guidedH5095 them in thy strengthH5797 unto thy holyH6944 habitationH5116.
The peopleH5971 shall hearH8085, and be afraidH7264: sorrowH2427 shall take holdH270 on the inhabitantsH3427 of PalestinaH6429.
ThenH227 the dukesH441 of EdomH123 shall be amazedH926; the mighty menH352 of MoabH4124, tremblingH7461 shall take holdH270 upon them; all the inhabitantsH3427 of CanaanH3667 shall melt awayH4127.
FearH367 and dreadH6343 shall fallH5307 upon them; by the greatnessH1419 of thine armH2220 they shall be as stillH1826 as a stoneH68; till thy peopleH5971 pass overH5674, O LORDH3068, till the peopleH5971 pass overH5674, whichH2098 thou hast purchasedH7069.
The LORDH3068 shall reignH4427 for everH5769 and everH5703.
For the horseH5483 of PharaohH6547 went inH935 with his chariotsH7393 and with his horsemenH6571 into the seaH3220, and the LORDH3068 brought againH7725 the watersH4325 of the seaH3220 upon them; but the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 wentH1980 on dryH3004 land in the midstH8432 of the seaH3220.
And MiriamH4813 the prophetessH5031, the sisterH269 of AaronH175, tookH3947 a timbrelH8596 in her handH3027; and all the womenH802 went outH3318 afterH310 her with timbrelsH8596 and with dancesH4246.
And MiriamH4813 answeredH6030 them, SingH7891 ye to the LORDH3068, for he hath triumphedH1342 gloriouslyH1342; the horseH5483 and his riderH7392 hath he thrownH7411 into the seaH3220.
Giving thanksG2168 unto the FatherG3962, whichG3588 hath madeG2427 usG2248 meetG2427 toG1519 be partakersG3310 of the inheritanceG2819 of the saintsG40 inG1722 lightG5457:
And thou shalt rememberH2142 all the wayH1870 which the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 ledH3212 thee these fortyH705 yearsH8141 in the wildernessH4057, to humbleH6031 thee, and to proveH5254 thee, to knowH3045 what was in thine heartH3824, whether thou wouldest keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687, or no.
And he humbledH6031 thee, and suffered thee to hungerH7456, and fedH398 thee with mannaH4478, which thou knewestH3045 not, neither did thy fathersH1 knowH3045; that he might make thee knowH3045 that manH120 doth not liveH2421 by breadH3899 onlyH905, but by every word that proceedethH4161 out of the mouthH6310 of the LORDH3068 doth manH120 liveH2421.
Thou shalt also considerH3045 inH5973 thine heartH3824, that, as a manH376 chastenethH3256 his sonH1121, so the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 chastenethH3256 thee.
Who ledH3212 thee through that greatH1419 and terribleH3372 wildernessH4057, wherein were fieryH8314 serpentsH5175, and scorpionsH6137, and droughtH6774, where there was no waterH4325; who brought thee forthH3318 waterH4325 out of the rockH6697 of flintH2496;
Who fedH398 thee in the wildernessH4057 with mannaH4478, which thy fathersH1 knewH3045 not, that he might humbleH6031 thee, and that he might proveH5254 thee, to do thee goodH3190 at thy latter endH319;
And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559,
This is the ordinanceH2708 of the lawH8451 which the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680, sayingH559, SpeakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they bringH3947 thee a redH122 heiferH6510 without spotH8549, wherein is no blemishH3971, and upon which neverH3808 cameH5927 yokeH5923:
And ye shall giveH5414 her unto EleazarH499 the priestH3548, that he may bring her forthH3318 withoutH2351 the campH4264, and one shall slayH7819 her beforeH6440 his face:
And EleazarH499 the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of her bloodH1818 with his fingerH676, and sprinkleH5137 of her bloodH1818 directlyH5227 beforeH6440 the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150 sevenH7651 timesH6471:
And one shall burnH8313 the heiferH6510 in his sightH5869; her skinH5785, and her fleshH1320, and her bloodH1818, with her dungH6569, shall he burnH8313:
And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 cedarH730 woodH6086, and hyssopH231, and scarletH8438+H8144, and castH7993 it into the midstH8432 of the burningH8316 of the heiferH6510.
Then the priestH3548 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and he shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and afterwardH310 he shall comeH935 into the campH4264, and the priestH3548 shall be uncleanH2930 until the evenH6153.
And he that burnethH8313 her shall washH3526 his clothesH899 in waterH4325, and batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and shall be uncleanH2930 until the evenH6153.
And a manH376 that is cleanH2889 shall gatherH622 up the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510, and lay them upH3240 withoutH2351 the campH4264 in a cleanH2889 placeH4725, and it shall be keptH4931 for the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 for a waterH4325 of separationH5079: it is a purification for sinH2403.
And he that gatherethH622 the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and be uncleanH2930 until the evenH6153: and it shall be unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and unto the strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481 amongH8432 them, for a statuteH2708 for everH5769.
He that touchethH5060 the deadH4191 bodyH5315 of any manH120 shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. {man: Heb. soul of man}
He shall purifyH2398 himself with it on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall be cleanH2891: but if he purifyH2398 not himself the thirdH7992 dayH3117, then the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall not be cleanH2891.
Whosoever touchethH5060 the deadH4191 bodyH5315 of any manH120 that is deadH4191, and purifiethH2398 not himself, defilethH2930 the tabernacleH4908 of the LORDH3068; and that soulH5315 shall be cut offH3772 from IsraelH3478: because the waterH4325 of separationH5079 was not sprinkledH2236 upon him, he shall be uncleanH2931; his uncleannessH2932 is yet upon him.
This is the lawH8451, when a manH120 diethH4191 in a tentH168: all that comeH935 into the tentH168, and all that is in the tentH168, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117.
And every openH6605 vesselH3627, which hath no coveringH6781 boundH6616 upon it, is uncleanH2931.
And whosoever touchethH5060 one that is slainH2491 with a swordH2719 in the openH6440 fieldsH7704, or a dead bodyH4191, or a boneH6106 of a manH120, or a graveH6913, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117.
And for an uncleanH2931 person they shall takeH3947 of the ashesH6083 of the burnt heiferH8316 of purification for sinH2403, and runningH2416 waterH4325 shall be putH5414 thereto in a vesselH3627: {ashes: Heb. dust} {running…: Heb. living waters shall be given}
And a cleanH2889 personH376 shall takeH3947 hyssopH231, and dipH2881 it in the waterH4325, and sprinkleH5137 it upon the tentH168, and upon all the vesselsH3627, and upon the personsH5315 that were there, and upon him that touchedH5060 a boneH6106, or one slainH2491, or one deadH4191, or a graveH6913:
And the cleanH2889 person shall sprinkleH5137 upon the uncleanH2931 on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117: and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall purifyH2398 himself, and washH3526 his clothesH899, and batheH7364 himself in waterH4325, and shall be cleanH2891 at evenH6153.
But the manH376 that shall be uncleanH2930, and shall not purifyH2398 himself, that soulH5315 shall be cut offH3772 from amongH8432 the congregationH6951, because he hath defiledH2930 the sanctuaryH4720 of the LORDH3068: the waterH4325 of separationH5079 hath not been sprinkledH2236 upon him; he is uncleanH2931.
And it shall be a perpetualH5769 statuteH2708 unto them, that he that sprinklethH5137 the waterH4325 of separationH5079 shall washH3526 his clothesH899; and he that touchethH5060 the waterH4325 of separationH5079 shall be uncleanH2930 until evenH6153.
And whatsoever the uncleanH2931 person touchethH5060 shall be uncleanH2930; and the soulH5315 that touchethH5060 it shall be uncleanH2930 until evenH6153.
Unto the womanH802 he saidH559, I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 thy sorrowH6093 and thy conceptionH2032; in sorrowH6089 thou shalt bring forthH3205 childrenH1121; and thy desireH8669 shall be to thy husbandH376, and he shall ruleH4910 over thee. {to thy…: or, subject to thy husband}
