God is gone up with a shout,Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises:Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth:Sing ye praises {Or, in a skilful psalm Hebrew: Maschil.}with understanding.
God reigneth over the nations:God sitteth upon his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples are gathered together {Or, Unto the people}To be the people of the God of Abraham;For the shields of the earth belong unto God:He is greatly exalted.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of Jehovah with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob;Neither hath he seen {Or, trouble}perverseness in Israel:Jehovah his God is with him,And the shout of a king is among them.
Then shalt thou send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement shall ye send abroad the trumpet throughout all your land.
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:
whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of His holy prophets that have been from of old.
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives;Thou hast received gifts among men,Yea, among the rebellious also, that {Hebrew: Jah.}Jehovah God might {Or, dwell there}dwell with them.
Wherefore he saith, {Psalm 68:18.}When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive,And gave gifts unto men.
(Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended {Some ancient authorities insert first.}into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
and God shall glorify him in himself, and straightway shall he glorify him.

Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not {Another reading is see.}fear evil any more.
But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom is king in Hebron.
Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him {Or, on the bare steps}on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, Jehu is king.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God {Greek: justifieth.}would justify the {Greek: nations.}Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, {Genesis 12:3.}In thee shall all the nations be blessed.
By me kings reign,And princes decree justice.
And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.
