Vers

1 wird geladen ... The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 wird geladen ... Hear, ye peoples, all of you; hearken, O earth, and {Hebrew: the fullness thereof.}all that therein is: and let the Lord Jehovah be witness {Or, among}against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

3 wird geladen ... For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

4 wird geladen ... And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.

5 wird geladen ... For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

6 wird geladen ... Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof.

7 wird geladen ... And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.

8 wird geladen ... For this will I lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches.

9 wird geladen ... For her wounds are incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

10 wird geladen ... Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all: at {That is, A house of dust.}Beth-le-aphrah {Another reading is, roll thyself}have I rolled myself in the dust.

11 wird geladen ... Pass away, O {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame: the {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Zaanan is not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the {Or, standing-place}stay thereof.

12 wird geladen ... For the {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Maroth {Or, is in travail for}waiteth anxiously for good, because evil is come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 wird geladen ... Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.

14 wird geladen ... Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a {Hebrew: achzab.}deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.

15 wird geladen ... I will yet bring unto thee, O {Hebrew: inhabitress.}inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee: the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.

16 wird geladen ... Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair for the children of thy delight: enlarge thy baldness as the {Or, vulture}eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

2Chr 32,6 wird geladen ... And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the broad place at the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,

2Chr 32,7 wird geladen ... Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him; for {Or, there are more}there is a greater with us than with him:

2Chr 32,8 wird geladen ... with him is an arm of flesh; but with us is Jehovah our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

2Chr 32,9 wird geladen ... After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (now he was before Lachish, and all his power with him), unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,

2Chr 32,10 wird geladen ... Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide {Or, in the stronghold}the siege in Jerusalem?

2Chr 32,11 wird geladen ... Doth not Hezekiah persuade you, to give you over to die by famine and by thirst, saying, Jehovah our God will deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

2Chr 32,12 wird geladen ... Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and upon it shall ye burn incense?

2Chr 32,13 wird geladen ... Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the peoples of the lands? Were the gods of the nations of the lands in any wise able to deliver their land out of my hand?

2Chr 32,14 wird geladen ... Who was there among all the gods of those nations which my fathers {Hebrew: devoted.}utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of my hand?

2Chr 32,15 wird geladen ... Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you after this manner, neither believe ye him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your {Or, gods}God deliver you out of my hand?

2Chr 32,16 wird geladen ... And his servants spake yet more against Jehovah God, and against his servant Hezekiah.

2Chr 32,17 wird geladen ... He wrote also {Or, a letter}letters, to rail on Jehovah, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of my hand.

2Chr 32,18 wird geladen ... And they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

2Chr 32,19 wird geladen ... And they spake of the God of Jerusalem, as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men's hands.

2Chr 32,20 wird geladen ... And Hezekiah the king, and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, prayed because of this, and cried to heaven.

2Chr 32,21 wird geladen ... And Jehovah sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty men of valor, and the leaders and captains, in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth from his own bowels {Hebrew: caused him to fall.}slew him there with the sword.

2Chr 32,22 wird geladen ... Thus Jehovah saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side.

2Chr 32,23 wird geladen ... And many brought gifts unto Jehovah to Jerusalem, and precious things to Hezekiah king of Judah; so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.

Jes 37,22 wird geladen ... this is the word which Jehovah hath spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion hath despised thee and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head {Hebrew: after.}at thee.

Jes 37,23 wird geladen ... Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Jes 37,27 wird geladen ... Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as {In 2 Kings 19:26, grain blasted.}a field of grain before it is grown up.

Jes 37,28 wird geladen ... But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me.

Jes 37,29 wird geladen ... Because of thy raging against me, and because {Or, thy careless ease}thine arrogancy is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Jes 37,30 wird geladen ... And this shall be the sign unto thee: ye shall eat this year that which groweth of itself, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

Jes 37,31 wird geladen ... And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Jes 37,32 wird geladen ... For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of mount Zion they that shall escape. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

Jes 37,33 wird geladen ... Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Jes 37,34 wird geladen ... By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith Jehovah.

Jes 37,35 wird geladen ... For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

Jes 37,36 wird geladen ... And the angel of Jehovah went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.
