1 wird geladen ... He that separateth himself seeketh his own desire,
And {Or, quarrelleth with}rageth against all sound wisdom.

2 wird geladen ... A fool hath no delight in understanding,
But only that his heart may reveal itself.

3 wird geladen ... When the wicked cometh, there cometh also contempt,
And with ignominy cometh reproach.

4 wird geladen ... The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters;
{Or, A flowing brook, a wellspring of wisdom}The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook.

5 wird geladen ... To respect the person of the wicked is not good,
{Or, So as to turn aside}Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment.

And his mouth calleth for stripes.

And his lips are the snare of his soul.

And they go down into the innermost parts.

Is brother to him that is a destroyer.

10 wird geladen ... The name of Jehovah is a strong tower;
The righteous runneth into it, and {Hebrew: is set on high.}is safe.

11 wird geladen ... The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
And as a high wall in his own imagination.

12 wird geladen ... Before destruction the heart of man is haughty;
And before honor goeth humility.

13 wird geladen ... He that giveth answer before he heareth,
It is folly and shame unto him.

14 wird geladen ... The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity;
But a broken spirit who can {Or, raise up}bear?

15 wird geladen ... The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge;
And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

16 wird geladen ... A man's gift maketh room for him,
And bringeth him before great men.

17 wird geladen ... He that pleadeth his cause first seemeth just;
But his neighbor cometh and searcheth him out.

18 wird geladen ... The lot causeth contentions to cease,
And parteth between the mighty.

19 wird geladen ... A brother {Or, injured}offended is harder to be won than a strong city;
And such contentions are like the bars of a castle.

20 wird geladen ... A man's belly shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth;
With the increase of his lips shall he be satisfied.

21 wird geladen ... Death and life are in the power of the tongue;
And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

22 wird geladen ... Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
And obtaineth favor of Jehovah.

23 wird geladen ... The poor useth entreaties;
But the rich answereth roughly.

24 wird geladen ... {Hebrew: A man of friends.}He that maketh many friends doeth it to his own destruction;
But there is a {Hebrew: lover.}friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against Jehovah in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.

1Sam 14,36 wird geladen ... And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and take spoil among them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.

1Sam 14,37 wird geladen ... And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day.

1Sam 14,39 wird geladen ... For, as Jehovah liveth, who saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.

1Sam 14,40 wird geladen ... Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee.

1Sam 14,41 wird geladen ... Therefore Saul said unto Jehovah, the God of Israel, {Or, Give a perfect lot}Show the right. And Jonathan and Saul were taken by lot; but the people escaped.

1Sam 14,43 wird geladen ... Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did certainly taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in my hand; and, lo, I must die.

1Sam 14,45 wird geladen ... And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? Far from it: as Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people {Hebrew: ransomed.}rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
