2 wird geladen ... And these were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;

3 wird geladen ... Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, {Or, secretaries}scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the {Or, chronicler}recorder;

4 wird geladen ... and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

5 wird geladen ... and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was {Or, priest See 2 Samuel 8:18}chief minister, and the king's friend;

6 wird geladen ... and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the men subject to taskwork.

7 wird geladen ... And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided victuals for the king and his household: each man had to make provision for a month in the year.

8 wird geladen ... And these are their names: Ben-hur, in the hill-country of Ephraim;

9 wird geladen ... Ben-deker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;

10 wird geladen ... Ben-hesed, in Arubboth (to him pertained Socoh, and all the land of Hepher);

11 wird geladen ... Ben-abinadab, in all {Or, Naphath-dor}the {Or, region}height of Dor (he had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife);

12 wird geladen ... Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as {Or, over against}beyond Jokmeam;

13 wird geladen ... Ben-geber, in Ramoth-gilead (to him pertained {Or, Havvoth-jair}the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; even to him pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brazen bars);

14 wird geladen ... Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15 wird geladen ... Ahimaaz, in Naphtali (he also took Basemath the daughter of Solomon to wife);

16 wird geladen ... Baana the son of Hushai, in Asher and {Or, in Aloth}Bealoth;

17 wird geladen ... Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar;

18 wird geladen ... Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin;

19 wird geladen ... Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; {Hebrew: and one officer.}and he was the only officer that was in the land.

20 wird geladen ... Judah and Israel were many as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry. {[Chapter 5:1 in Hebrew]}

21 wird geladen ... And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 wird geladen ... And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty {Hebrew: cor.}measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

23 wird geladen ... ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and gazelles, and roebucks, and fatted fowl.

24 wird geladen ... For he had dominion over all the region {Or, beyond the River}on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings {Or, beyond the River}on this side the River: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 wird geladen ... And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 wird geladen ... And Solomon had {In 2 Chronicles 9:25, four thousand.}forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 wird geladen ... And those officers provided victuals for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month; they let nothing be lacking.

28 wird geladen ... Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds brought they unto the place {Or, where he (that is, the king) was Or, where it should be}where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

29 wird geladen ... And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.

30 wird geladen ... And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

31 wird geladen ... For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the nations round about.

32 wird geladen ... And he spake three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

33 wird geladen ... And he spake of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall; he spake also of beasts, and of birds, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

34 wird geladen ... And there came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

Spr 1,6 wird geladen ... To understand a proverb, and {Or, an interpretation}a figure,The words of the wise, and their {Or, riddles}dark sayings.

Spr 1,7 wird geladen ... The fear of Jehovah is the {Or, chief part}beginning of knowledge;But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

Spr 1,8 wird geladen ... My son, hear the instruction of thy father,And forsake not the {Or, teaching}law of thy mother:

Spr 1,9 wird geladen ... For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head,And chains about thy neck.

Spr 1,10 wird geladen ... My son, if sinners entice thee,Consent thou not.

Spr 1,11 wird geladen ... If they say, Come with us,Let us lay wait for blood;Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause;

Spr 1,12 wird geladen ... Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol, {Or, Even the perfect}And whole, as those that go down into the pit;

Spr 1,13 wird geladen ... We shall find all precious substance;We shall fill our houses with spoil;

Spr 1,14 wird geladen ... {Or, Cast in thy lot}Thou shalt cast thy lot among us;We will all have one purse:

Spr 1,15 wird geladen ... My son, walk not thou in the way with them;Refrain thy foot from their path:

Spr 1,16 wird geladen ... For their feet run to evil,And they make haste to shed blood.

Spr 1,17 wird geladen ... For in vain is the net spreadIn the sight of any bird:

Spr 1,18 wird geladen ... And these lay wait for their own blood;They lurk privily for their own lives.

Spr 1,19 wird geladen ... So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain;It taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

Spr 1,20 wird geladen ... Wisdom crieth aloud in the street;She uttereth her voice in the broad places;

Spr 1,21 wird geladen ... She crieth {Hebrew: at the head of the noisy streets.}in the chief place of concourse;At the entrance of the gates,In the city, she uttereth her words:

Spr 1,22 wird geladen ... How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity?And scoffers delight them in scoffing,And fools hate knowledge?

Spr 1,23 wird geladen ... Turn you at my reproof:Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you;I will make known my words unto you.

Spr 1,24 wird geladen ... Because I have called, and ye have refused;I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;

Spr 1,25 wird geladen ... But ye have set at nought all my counsel,And would none of my reproof:

Spr 1,26 wird geladen ... I also will laugh in the day of your calamity;I will mock when your fear cometh;

Spr 1,27 wird geladen ... When your fear cometh as a {Or, desolation}storm,And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind;When distress and anguish come upon you.

Spr 1,28 wird geladen ... Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer;They will seek me {Or, early}diligently, but they shall not find me:

Spr 1,29 wird geladen ... For that they hated knowledge,And did not choose the fear of Jehovah:

Spr 1,30 wird geladen ... They would none of my counsel;They despised all my reproof.

Spr 1,31 wird geladen ... Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,And be filled with their own devices.

Hld 1,2 wird geladen ... Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth;For thy love is better than wine.

Hld 1,3 wird geladen ... Thine oils have a goodly fragrance;Thy name is as oil poured forth;Therefore do the {Or, maidens}virgins love thee.

Hld 1,4 wird geladen ... Draw me; we will run after thee:The king hath brought me into his chambers;We will be glad and rejoice in thee;We will make mention of thy love more than of wine: {Or, In uprightness}Rightly do they love thee.

Hld 1,5 wird geladen ... I am black, but comely,Oh ye daughters of Jerusalem,As the tents of Kedar,As the curtains of Solomon.

Hld 1,6 wird geladen ... Look not upon me, because I am swarthy,Because the sun hath {Or, looked upon}scorched me.My mother's sons were incensed against me;They made me keeper of the vineyards;But mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Hld 1,7 wird geladen ... Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth,Where thou feedest thy flock,Where thou makest it to rest at noon:For why should I be as one that is veiledBeside the flocks of thy companions?

Hld 1,8 wird geladen ... If thou know not, O thou fairest among women,Go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock,And feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.

Hld 1,10 wird geladen ... Thy cheeks are comely with plaits of hair,Thy neck with strings of jewels.

Hld 1,11 wird geladen ... We will make thee plaits of goldWith studs of silver.

Hld 1,12 wird geladen ... While the king sat at his table,My spikenard sent forth its fragrance.

Hld 1,13 wird geladen ... My beloved is unto me as a {Or, bag}bundle of myrrh,That lieth betwixt my breasts.

Hld 1,14 wird geladen ... My beloved is unto me as a cluster of {Hebrew: copher.}henna-flowersIn the vineyards of En-gedi.

Hld 1,15 wird geladen ... Behold, thou art fair, my love;Behold thou art fair; {Or, Thou hast doves' eyes}Thine eyes are as doves.

Hld 1,16 wird geladen ... Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant:Also our couch is green.

Hld 1,17 wird geladen ... The beams of our {Or, houses}house are {Or, of cedar…of fir}cedars,And our rafters are {Or, cypresses}firs.

Pred 12,9 wird geladen ... And further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he {Or, gave ear}pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
