1 wird geladen ... This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance;

2 wird geladen ... that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:

3 wird geladen ... knowing this first, that {Greek: in the last of the days.}in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts,

4 wird geladen ... and saying, Where is the promise of his {Greek: presence.}coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 wird geladen ... For this they wilfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and {Or, through}amidst water, by the word of God;

6 wird geladen ... by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 wird geladen ... but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been {Or, stored with fire}stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

8 wird geladen ... But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 wird geladen ... The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 wird geladen ... But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the {Or, heavenly bodies}elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be {The most ancient manuscripts read discovered.}burned up.

11 wird geladen ... Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,

12 wird geladen ... looking for and {Or, hastening}earnestly desiring the {Greek: presence.}coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the {Or, heavenly bodies}elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 wird geladen ... But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 wird geladen ... Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.

15 wird geladen ... And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;

16 wird geladen ... as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 wird geladen ... Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.

18 wird geladen ... But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and {Greek: unto the day of eternity. Ecclus. 18:10}for ever. Amen.

1Pet 1,1 wird geladen ... Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect who are sojourners of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Röm 8,1 wird geladen ... There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

Röm 8,2 wird geladen ... For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

Röm 8,3 wird geladen ... For what the law could not do, {Greek: wherein.}in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of {Greek: flesh of sin.}sinful flesh {Or, and as an offering for sin Leviticus 7:37 & c. Hebrews 10:6 & c. }and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Röm 8,4 wird geladen ... that the {Or, requirement}ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Röm 8,5 wird geladen ... For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Röm 8,6 wird geladen ... For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:

Röm 8,7 wird geladen ... because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:

Röm 8,8 wird geladen ... and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Röm 8,9 wird geladen ... But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Röm 8,10 wird geladen ... And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

Röm 8,11 wird geladen ... But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies {Many ancient authorities read because of.}through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Röm 8,12 wird geladen ... So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh:

Röm 8,13 wird geladen ... for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the {Greek: doings.}deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Röm 8,14 wird geladen ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Röm 8,15 wird geladen ... For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Röm 8,16 wird geladen ... The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:

Röm 8,17 wird geladen ... and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

Röm 8,18 wird geladen ... For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.

Röm 8,19 wird geladen ... For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.

Röm 8,20 wird geladen ... For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, {Or, in hope: because the creation & c.}in hope

Röm 8,21 wird geladen ... that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

Röm 8,22 wird geladen ... For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain {Or, with us}together until now.

Röm 8,23 wird geladen ... And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Röm 8,24 wird geladen ... For {Or, by}in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: {Many ancient authorities read for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?}for who {Some ancient authorities read awaiteth.}hopeth for that which he seeth?

Röm 8,25 wird geladen ... But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with {Or, stedfastness}patience wait for it.

Röm 8,26 wird geladen ... And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;

Röm 8,27 wird geladen ... and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, {Or, that}because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Röm 8,28 wird geladen ... And we know that to them that love God {Some ancient authorities read God worketh all things with them for good.}all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

Röm 8,29 wird geladen ... For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:

Röm 8,30 wird geladen ... and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Röm 8,31 wird geladen ... What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Röm 8,32 wird geladen ... He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?

Röm 8,33 wird geladen ... Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? {Or, Shall God that justifieth?}It is God that justifieth;

Röm 8,34 wird geladen ... who is he that condemneth? {Or, Shall Christ Jesus that died…us?}It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Röm 8,35 wird geladen ... Who shall separate us from the love {Some ancient authorities read of God.}of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Röm 8,36 wird geladen ... Even as it is written, {Psalms 44:22}For thy sake we are killed all the day long;We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Röm 8,37 wird geladen ... Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Röm 8,38 wird geladen ... For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

Röm 8,39 wird geladen ... nor height, nor depth, nor any other {Or, creation}creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Kor 15,1 wird geladen ... Now I make known unto you brethren, the {See marginal note on chapter 4:15.}gospel which I {See marginal note on chapter 1:17.}preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,

1Kor 15,2 wird geladen ... by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast {Greek: with what word.}the word which I {See marginal note on chapter 1:17.}preached unto you, except ye believed {Or, without cause}in vain.
