Vers

1 wird geladen ... All the commandment which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers.

2 wird geladen ... And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not.

3 wird geladen ... And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live.

4 wird geladen ... Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

5 wird geladen ... And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee.

6 wird geladen ... And thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

7 wird geladen ... For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;

8 wird geladen ... a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig-trees and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey;

9 wird geladen ... a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig copper.

10 wird geladen ... And thou shalt eat and be full, and thou shalt bless Jehovah thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

11 wird geladen ... Beware lest thou forget Jehovah thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

12 wird geladen ... lest, when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13 wird geladen ... and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

14 wird geladen ... then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;

15 wird geladen ... who led thee through the great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

16 wird geladen ... who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not; that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end:

17 wird geladen ... and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18 wird geladen ... But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as at this day.

19 wird geladen ... And it shall be, if thou shalt forget Jehovah thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20 wird geladen ... As the nations that Jehovah maketh to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah your God.

2Mo 16,15 wird geladen ... And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, {Or, It is manna Hebrew: man hu.}What is it? for they knew not what it was. And Moses said unto them, It is the bread which Jehovah hath given you to eat.

2Mo 16,16 wird geladen ... This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, Gather ye of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, shall ye take it, every man for them that are in his tent.

2Mo 16,18 wird geladen ... And when they measured it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

2Mo 16,20 wird geladen ... Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Moses was wroth with them.

2Mo 16,22 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.

2Mo 16,23 wird geladen ... And he said unto them, This is that which Jehovah hath spoken, Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy sabbath unto Jehovah: bake that which ye will bake, and boil that which ye will boil; and all that remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

2Mo 16,24 wird geladen ... And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not become foul, neither was there any worm therein.

2Mo 16,25 wird geladen ... And Moses said, Eat that to-day; for to-day is a sabbath unto Jehovah: to-day ye shall not find it in the field.

2Mo 16,26 wird geladen ... Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

2Mo 16,27 wird geladen ... And it came to pass on the seventh day, that there went out some of the people to gather, and they found none.

2Mo 16,28 wird geladen ... And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

2Mo 16,29 wird geladen ... See, for that Jehovah hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

2Mo 16,31 wird geladen ... And the house of Israel called the name thereof {Hebrew: Man.}Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

2Mo 16,32 wird geladen ... And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread wherewith I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

2Mo 16,33 wird geladen ... And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omerful of manna therein, and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept throughout your generations.

2Mo 16,34 wird geladen ... As Jehovah commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

2Mo 16,35 wird geladen ... And the children of Israel did eat the manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat the manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
