Vers

1 wird geladen ... When I would heal Israel, then is the iniquity of Ephraim uncovered, and the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief entereth in, and the troop of robbers {Or, maketh a raid}ravageth without.

2 wird geladen ... And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face.

3 wird geladen ... They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

4 wird geladen ... They are all adulterers; they are as an oven heated by the baker; he ceaseth to stir the fire, from the kneading of the dough, until it be leavened.

5 wird geladen ... On the day of our king the princes made {Or, him}themselves sick with the heat of wine; he stretched out his hand with scoffers.

6 wird geladen ... For they have {Hebrew: brought near.}made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

7 wird geladen ... They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

8 wird geladen ... Ephraim, he mixeth himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

9 wird geladen ... Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are {Hebrew: sprinkled.}here and there upon him, and he knoweth it not.

10 wird geladen ... And the {Or, excellency}pride of Israel doth testify to his face: yet they have not returned unto Jehovah their God, nor sought him, for all this.

11 wird geladen ... And Ephraim is like a silly dove, without {Hebrew: heart.}understanding: they call unto Egypt, they go to Assyria.

12 wird geladen ... When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the birds of the heavens; I will chastise them, {Or, when the report cometh to their congregation}as their congregation hath heard.

13 wird geladen ... Woe unto them! for they have wandered from me; destruction unto them! for they have trespassed against me: though I would redeem them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

14 wird geladen ... And they have not cried unto me with their heart, but they howl upon their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and new wine; they rebel against me.

15 wird geladen ... Though I have {Or, chastened them}taught and strengthened their arms, yet do they devise mischief against me.

16 wird geladen ... They return, but not to him that is on high; they are like a deceitful bow; their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

2Kön 13,7 wird geladen ... For he left not to Jehoahaz of the people save fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria destroyed them, and made them like the dust {Or, to trample on}in threshing.

2Kön 13,22 wird geladen ... And Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.

2Kön 15,19 wird geladen ... There came against the land Pul the king of Assyria; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

Jes 42,25 wird geladen ... Therefore he poured upon him the fierceness of his anger, and the strength of battle; and it set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

Jes 57,1 wird geladen ... The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and {Or, godly}merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away {Or, through wickedness}from the evil to come.
