1 wird geladen ... Hear ye the word which Jehovah speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2 wird geladen ... thus saith Jehovah, Learn not the way of the nations, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the nations are dismayed at them.

3 wird geladen ... For the {Hebrew: statues.}customs of the peoples are vanity; for {Or, it is but a tree which one cutteth}one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.

4 wird geladen ... They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 wird geladen ... They are like a {Or, pillar}palm-tree, of turned work, and speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.

6 wird geladen ... There is none like unto thee, O Jehovah; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

7 wird geladen ... Who should not fear thee, O King of the nations? for {Or, it beseemeth thee}to thee doth it appertain; forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like unto thee.

8 wird geladen ... But they are {Or, through one thing}together brutish and foolish: {Or, the stock is a doctrine of vanities}the instruction of idols! it is but a stock.

9 wird geladen ... There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the artificer and of the hands of the goldsmith; blue and purple for their clothing; they are all the work of skilful men.

10 wird geladen ... But Jehovah is {Or, God in truth}the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.

11 wird geladen ... {This verse is in Aramaic.}Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, {Or, they shall…under these heavens}these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.

12 wird geladen ... He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.

13 wird geladen ... {Or, at the sound of his giving an abundance of waters…when he causeth &c. (or, he causeth &c.)}When he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.

14 wird geladen ... Every man {Or, is too brutish to know}is become brutish and is without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his graven image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

15 wird geladen ... They are vanity, a work of {Or, mockery}delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

16 wird geladen ... The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

17 wird geladen ... Gather up {Or, thy bundle from the ground}thy wares out of the land, {Or, O inhabitant (Hebrew: inhabitress) of the ortress}O thou that abidest in the siege.

18 wird geladen ... For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this time, and will distress them, that they may {Hebrew: find.}feel it.

19 wird geladen ... Woe is me because of my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is my {Or, sickness}grief, and I must bear it.

20 wird geladen ... My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth from me, and they are not: there is none to spread my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

21 wird geladen ... For the shepherds are become brutish, and have not inquired of Jehovah: therefore they have not {Or, dealt wisely}prospered, and all their flocks are scattered.

22 wird geladen ... The voice of tidings, behold, it cometh, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah a desolation, a dwelling-place of jackals.

23 wird geladen ... O Jehovah, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

24 wird geladen ... O Jehovah, correct me, but in {Hebrew: judgement.}measure: not in thine anger, lest thou {Hebrew: diminish me.}bring me to nothing.

25 wird geladen ... Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have devoured Jacob, yea, they have devoured him and consumed him, and have laid waste his {Or, pasture}habitation.

Jer 23,11 wird geladen ... for both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah.

Jer 23,12 wird geladen ... Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil upon them, {Or, in the year}even the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah.

Jer 23,13 wird geladen ... And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

Jer 23,14 wird geladen ... In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, so that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Jer 23,15 wird geladen ... Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of {Or, poison}gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.

Jer 23,16 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Jehovah.

Jer 23,17 wird geladen ... They say continually unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace; and unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come upon you.

Jer 23,18 wird geladen ... For who hath stood in the council of Jehovah, that he should perceive and hear his word? who hath marked {Another reading is, his.}my word, and heard it?

Jer 23,19 wird geladen ... Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, even his wrath, is gone forth, yea, a whirling tempest: it shall burst upon the head of the wicked.

Jer 23,20 wird geladen ... The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have {Or, done it}executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall {Or, consider}understand it perfectly.

Jer 23,21 wird geladen ... I sent not these prophets, yet they ran: I spake not unto them, yet they prophesied.

Jer 23,22 wird geladen ... But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Jer 23,23 wird geladen ... Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?

Jer 23,24 wird geladen ... Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith Jehovah.

Jer 23,25 wird geladen ... I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

Jer 23,26 wird geladen ... How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

Jer 23,27 wird geladen ... that think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgat my name for Baal.

Jer 23,28 wird geladen ... The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? saith Jehovah.

Jer 23,29 wird geladen ... Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Jer 23,30 wird geladen ... Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that steal my words every one from his neighbor.

Jer 23,31 wird geladen ... Behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that {Hebrew: take.}use their tongues, and say, He saith.

Jer 23,32 wird geladen ... Behold, I am against them that prophesy lying dreams, saith Jehovah, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, saith Jehovah.

Sach 13,7 wird geladen ... Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

Jes 56,10 wird geladen ... His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

Jes 56,11 wird geladen ... Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, {Or, one and all}from every quarter.

Jes 56,12 wird geladen ... Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, a day great beyond measure.

Hes 22,25 wird geladen ... There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst thereof.

Hes 22,26 wird geladen ... Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Hes 22,27 wird geladen ... Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.

Hes 22,28 wird geladen ... And her prophets have daubed for them with {Or, whitewash}untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, when Jehovah hath not spoken.

Hes 22,29 wird geladen ... The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yea, they have vexed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the sojourner wrongfully.

Hes 22,30 wird geladen ... And I sought for a man among them, that should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.

Hes 34,2 wird geladen ... Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?

Hes 34,3 wird geladen ... Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feed not the sheep.

Hes 34,4 wird geladen ... The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought back that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor have ye ruled over them.

Hes 34,5 wird geladen ... And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.

Hes 34,8 wird geladen ... As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely forasmuch as my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my sheep;

Hes 34,9 wird geladen ... therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah:

Hes 34,10 wird geladen ... Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

Joh 10,12 wird geladen ... He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth them:

Joh 10,13 wird geladen ... he fleeth because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Sach 10,3 wird geladen ... Mine anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats; for Jehovah of hosts hath visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle.
