1 wird geladen ... Moreover Elihu answered and said,

2 wird geladen ... Thinkest thou this to be thy right,
Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,

3 wird geladen ... That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee?
And, What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?

4 wird geladen ... I will answer thee,
And thy companions with thee.

5 wird geladen ... Look unto the heavens, and see;
And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.

6 wird geladen ... If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him?
And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

7 wird geladen ... If thou be righteous, what givest thou him?
Or what receiveth he of thy hand?

8 wird geladen ... Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art;
And thy righteousness may profit a son of man.

9 wird geladen ... By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out;
They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.

10 wird geladen ... But none saith, Where is God my Maker,
Who giveth songs in the night,

11 wird geladen ... Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth,
And maketh us wiser than the birds of the heavens?

12 wird geladen ... There they cry, {Or, but he answereth not}but none giveth answer,
Because of the pride of evil men.

13 wird geladen ... Surely God will not hear an empty cry,
Neither will the Almighty regard it.

14 wird geladen ... How much less when thou sayest {Or, thou beholdest him not! The cause is before him, therefore wait thou for him}thou beholdest him not,
The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!

15 wird geladen ... But now, because he hath not visited in his anger,
{Or, Thou sayest, He doth not greatly regard arrogance. Thus doth &c.}Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;

16 wird geladen ... Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity;
He multiplieth words without knowledge.

Hiob 27,5 wird geladen ... Far be it from me that I should justify you:Till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.

Hiob 27,6 wird geladen ... My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go:My heart {Or, doth not reproach me for any of my days}shall not reproach me so long as I live.

Hiob 34,5 wird geladen ... For Job hath said, I am righteous,And God hath taken away my right:

Hiob 40,8 wird geladen ... Wilt thou even annul my judgment?Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
