For thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 concerning the sonsH1121 and concerning the daughtersH1323 that are bornH3205 in this placeH4725, and concerning their mothersH517 that bareH3205 them, and concerning their fathersH1 that begatH3209 them in this landH776;
They shall dieH4191 of grievousH8463 deathsH4463; they shall not be lamentedH5594; neither shall they be buriedH6912; but they shall be as dungH1828 upon the faceH6440 of the earthH127: and they shall be consumedH3615 by the swordH2719, and by famineH7458; and their carcasesH5038 shall be meatH3978 for the fowlsH5775 of heavenH8064, and for the beastsH929 of the earthH776.
For thus saithH559 the LORDH3068, EnterH935 not into the houseH1004 of mourningH4798, neither goH3212 to lamentH5594 nor bemoanH5110 them: for I have taken awayH622 my peaceH7965 from this peopleH5971, saithH5002 the LORDH3068, even lovingkindnessH2617 and merciesH7356. {mourning: or, mourning feast}
Both the greatH1419 and the smallH6996 shall dieH4191 in this landH776: they shall not be buriedH6912, neither shall men lamentH5594 for them, nor cutH1413 themselves, nor make themselves baldH7139 for them:

For thus saithH559 the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478; Behold, I will cause to ceaseH7673 out of this placeH4725 in your eyesH5869, and in your daysH3117, the voiceH6963 of mirthH8342, and the voiceH6963 of gladnessH8057, the voiceH6963 of the bridegroomH2860, and the voiceH6963 of the brideH3618.
And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shewH5046 this peopleH5971 all these wordsH1697, and they shall sayH559 unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORDH3068 pronouncedH1696 all this greatH1419 evilH7451 against us? or what is our iniquityH5771? or what is our sinH2403 that we have committedH2398 against the LORDH3068 our GodH430?
Then shalt thou sayH559 unto them, Because your fathersH1 have forsakenH5800 me, saithH5002 the LORDH3068, and have walkedH3212 afterH310 otherH312 godsH430, and have servedH5647 them, and have worshippedH7812 them, and have forsakenH5800 me, and have not keptH8104 my lawH8451;
And ye have doneH6213 worseH7489 than your fathersH1; for, beholdH2009, ye walkH1980 every oneH376 afterH310 the imaginationH8307 of his evilH7451 heartH3820, that they may not hearkenH8085 unto me: {imagination: or, stubbornness}
Therefore will I castH2904 you out of this landH776 into a landH776 that ye knowH3045 not, neither ye nor your fathersH1; and there shall ye serveH5647 otherH312 godsH430 dayH3119 and nightH3915; where I will not shewH5414 you favourH2594.

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all goodH2896 thingsH1697 are comeH935 upon you, which the LORDH3068 your GodH430 promisedH1696 you; so shall the LORDH3068 bringH935 upon you all evilH7451 thingsH1697, until he have destroyedH8045 you from off this goodH2896 landH127 which the LORDH3068 your GodH430 hath givenH5414 you.
When ye have transgressedH5674 the covenantH1285 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430, which he commandedH6680 you, and have goneH1980 and servedH5647 otherH312 godsH430, and bowedH7812 yourselves to them; then shall the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 be kindledH2734 against you, and ye shall perishH6 quicklyH4120 from off the goodH2896 landH776 which he hath givenH5414 unto you.
