2 wird geladen ... at that time Jehovah spake by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put thy shoe from off thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

3 wird geladen ... And Jehovah said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot {Or, to be for three years a sign &c.}three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning {Hebrew: Cush.}Ethiopia;

4 wird geladen ... so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt, and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

5 wird geladen ... And they shall be dismayed and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

6 wird geladen ... And the inhabitant of this coast-land shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and we, how shall we escape?

Jer 13,1 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah unto me, Go, and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.

Jer 13,2 wird geladen ... So I bought a girdle according to the word of Jehovah, and put it upon my loins.

Jer 13,3 wird geladen ... And the word of Jehovah came unto me the second time, saying,

Jer 13,4 wird geladen ... Take the girdle that thou hast bought, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.

Jer 13,5 wird geladen ... So I went, and hid it by the Euphrates, as Jehovah commanded me.

Jer 13,6 wird geladen ... And it came to pass after many days, that Jehovah said unto me, Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.

Jer 13,7 wird geladen ... Then I went to the Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it; and, behold, the girdle was marred, it was profitable for nothing.

Jer 13,8 wird geladen ... Then the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Jer 13,9 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

Jer 13,10 wird geladen ... This evil people, that refuse to hear my words, that walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and are gone after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is profitable for nothing.

Jer 13,11 wird geladen ... For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith Jehovah; that they may be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.

Jer 19,3 wird geladen ... and say, Hear ye the word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

Jer 19,4 wird geladen ... Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, that they knew not, they and their fathers and the kings of Judah; and have filled this place with the blood of innocents,

Jer 19,5 wird geladen ... and have built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons in the fire for burnt-offerings unto Baal; which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my {Hebrew: heart.}mind:

Jer 19,6 wird geladen ... therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that this place shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter.

Jer 19,7 wird geladen ... And I will {Hebrew: empty out.}make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies will I give to be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth.

Jer 19,8 wird geladen ... And I will make this city an astonishment, and a hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

Jer 19,9 wird geladen ... And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters; and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend, in the siege and in the distress, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their life, shall distress them.

Jer 19,10 wird geladen ... Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee,

Jer 19,11 wird geladen ... and shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again; and they shall bury in Topheth, {Or, because there shall be no place else}till there be no place to bury.

Jer 19,12 wird geladen ... Thus will I do unto this place, saith Jehovah, and to the inhabitants thereof, even making this city as Topheth:

Jer 19,13 wird geladen ... and the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, which are defiled, shall be as the place of Topheth, even all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink-offerings unto other gods.

Jer 19,14 wird geladen ... Then came Jeremiah from Topheth, whither Jehovah had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of Jehovah's house, and said to all the people:

Jer 19,15 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it; because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.
