Vers

1 wird geladen ... The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 wird geladen ... And it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established {Or, at the head}on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 wird geladen ... And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth {Or, instruction}the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

4 wird geladen ... And he will judge {Or, among}between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

5 wird geladen ... O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

6 wird geladen ... For thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they are filled with customs from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.

7 wird geladen ... And their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.

8 wird geladen ... Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.

9 wird geladen ... And the mean man {Or, boweth down}is bowed down, and the great man {Or, humbleth himself}is brought low: therefore forgive them not.

10 wird geladen ... Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.

11 wird geladen ... The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

12 wird geladen ... For {Or, Jehovah of hosts hath a day}there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;

13 wird geladen ... and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

14 wird geladen ... and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

15 wird geladen ... and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,

16 wird geladen ... and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant {Or, watch-towers}imagery.

17 wird geladen ... And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

18 wird geladen ... And the idols shall utterly pass away.

19 wird geladen ... And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the {Hebrew: dust.}earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

20 wird geladen ... In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21 wird geladen ... to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

22 wird geladen ... Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Jes 57,5 wird geladen ... ye that inflame yourselves {Or, with idols}among the oaks, under every green tree; that slay the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?

Jes 37,19 wird geladen ... and have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.

Jes 44,15 wird geladen ... Then shall it be for a man to burn; and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread: yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

Jes 44,16 wird geladen ... He burneth {Or, the half}part thereof in the fire; with {Or, the half}part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied; yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.

Jes 44,17 wird geladen ... And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

Jes 44,18 wird geladen ... They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath {Hebrew: daubed.}shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Jes 44,19 wird geladen ... And none calleth to mind, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

Jes 44,20 wird geladen ... He feedeth on ashes; a deceived heart hath turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

2Chr 28,2 wird geladen ... but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for the Baalim.

2Chr 28,3 wird geladen ... Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom Jehovah cast out before the children of Israel.

2Chr 28,4 wird geladen ... And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

5Mo 4,28 wird geladen ... And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

2Chr 28,23 wird geladen ... For he sacrificed unto the gods of {Hebrew: Darmesek.}Damascus, which smote him; and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.

2Chr 28,24 wird geladen ... And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of Jehovah; and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.

2Chr 28,25 wird geladen ... And in every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger Jehovah, the God of his fathers.

Ps 115,5 wird geladen ... They have mouths, but they speak not;Eyes have they, but they see not;

Ps 115,6 wird geladen ... They have ears, but they hear not;Noses have they, but they smell not;

Ps 115,7 wird geladen ... They have hands, but they handle not;Feet have they, but they walk not;Neither speak they through their throat.

Ps 115,8 wird geladen ... They that make them shall be like unto them;Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

2Chr 33,3 wird geladen ... For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he reared up altars for the Baalim, and made Asheroth, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

2Chr 33,4 wird geladen ... And he built altars in the house of Jehovah, whereof Jehovah said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

2Chr 33,5 wird geladen ... And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of Jehovah.

2Chr 33,6 wird geladen ... He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practised augury, and used enchantments, and practised sorcery, and dealt with them that had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.

2Chr 33,7 wird geladen ... And he set the graven image of the idol, which he had made, in the house of God, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
