12 wird geladen ... and he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah his God; he humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of Jehovah.

13 wird geladen ... And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and {Hebrew: strengthened.}hardened his heart against turning unto Jehovah, the God of Israel.

14 wird geladen ... Moreover all the chiefs of the priests, and the people, trespassed very greatly after all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of Jehovah which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

15 wird geladen ... And Jehovah, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place:

16 wird geladen ... but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Jehovah arose against his people, till there was no {Hebrew: healing.}remedy.

17 wird geladen ... Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or virgin, old man or hoary-headed: he gave them all into his hand.

18 wird geladen ... And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.

19 wird geladen ... And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

20 wird geladen ... And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

21 wird geladen ... to fulfil the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths: for as long as it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

Now in the first year of {Hebrew: Coresh.}Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

3Mo 26,20 wird geladen ... and your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.

3Mo 26,21 wird geladen ... And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

3Mo 26,22 wird geladen ... And I will send the beast of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.

3Mo 26,24 wird geladen ... then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.

3Mo 26,25 wird geladen ... And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant; and ye shall be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

3Mo 26,26 wird geladen ... When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

3Mo 26,28 wird geladen ... then I will walk contrary unto you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

3Mo 26,29 wird geladen ... And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

3Mo 26,30 wird geladen ... And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.

3Mo 26,31 wird geladen ... And I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

3Mo 26,32 wird geladen ... And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

3Mo 26,33 wird geladen ... And you will I scatter among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

3Mo 26,34 wird geladen ... Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its sabbaths.

3Mo 26,35 wird geladen ... As long as it lieth desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it had not in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

3Mo 26,36 wird geladen ... And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

3Mo 26,37 wird geladen ... And they shall stumble one upon another, as it were before the sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

Jer 39,10 wird geladen ... But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, that had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.

Jer 39,11 wird geladen ... Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,

Jer 39,12 wird geladen ... Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.

Jer 39,13 wird geladen ... So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushazban, Rab-saris, and Nergal-sharezer, Rab-mag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon;

Jer 39,14 wird geladen ... they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the guard, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

Jer 39,15 wird geladen ... Now the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the guard, saying,

Jer 39,16 wird geladen ... Go, and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they {Or, shall be before thee}shall be accomplished before thee in that day.

Jer 39,17 wird geladen ... But I will deliver thee in that day, saith Jehovah; and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.

Jer 39,18 wird geladen ... For I will surely save thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee; because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith Jehovah.

5Mo 28,15 wird geladen ... But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.

5Mo 28,16 wird geladen ... Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

5Mo 28,17 wird geladen ... Cursed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.

5Mo 28,18 wird geladen ... Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.

5Mo 28,19 wird geladen ... Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

5Mo 28,20 wird geladen ... Jehovah will send upon thee cursing, discomfiture, and rebuke, in all that thou puttest thy hand unto to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the evil of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

5Mo 28,21 wird geladen ... Jehovah will make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest in to possess it.

5Mo 28,22 wird geladen ... Jehovah will smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with {Or, as otherwise read, drought}the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

5Mo 28,23 wird geladen ... And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

5Mo 28,24 wird geladen ... Jehovah will make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

5Mo 28,25 wird geladen ... Jehovah will cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies; thou shalt go out one way against them, and shalt flee seven ways before them: and thou shalt be {Or, a terror unto all}tossed to and from among all the kingdoms of the earth.

5Mo 28,26 wird geladen ... And thy dead body shall be food unto all birds of the heavens, and unto the beasts of the earth; and there shall be none to frighten them away.

5Mo 28,27 wird geladen ... Jehovah will smite thee with the boil of Egypt, and with the {Or, tumors Or, plague boils}emerods, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

5Mo 28,28 wird geladen ... Jehovah will smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;

5Mo 28,29 wird geladen ... and thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and robbed alway, and there shall be none to save thee.

5Mo 28,30 wird geladen ... Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not use the fruit thereof.

5Mo 28,31 wird geladen ... Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to save thee.

5Mo 28,32 wird geladen ... Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people; and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day: and there shall be nought in the power of thy hand.

5Mo 28,33 wird geladen ... The fruit of thy ground, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway;

5Mo 28,34 wird geladen ... so that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

5Mo 28,35 wird geladen ... Jehovah will smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, whereof thou canst not be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the crown of thy head.

5Mo 28,36 wird geladen ... Jehovah will bring thee, and thy king whom thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation that thou hast not known, thou nor thy fathers; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

5Mo 28,37 wird geladen ... And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples whither Jehovah shall lead thee away.

5Mo 28,38 wird geladen ... Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather little in; for the locust shall consume it.

5Mo 28,39 wird geladen ... Thou shalt plant vineyards and dress them, but thou shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worm shall eat them.

5Mo 28,40 wird geladen ... Thou shalt have olive-trees throughout all thy borders, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast its fruit.

5Mo 28,41 wird geladen ... Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be thine; for they shall go into captivity.

5Mo 28,42 wird geladen ... All thy trees and the fruit of thy ground shall the locust possess.

5Mo 28,43 wird geladen ... The sojourner that is in the midst of thee shall mount up above thee higher and higher; and thou shalt come down lower and lower.

5Mo 28,44 wird geladen ... He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

5Mo 28,45 wird geladen ... And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

5Mo 28,46 wird geladen ... and they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

5Mo 28,47 wird geladen ... Because thou servedst not Jehovah thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;

Jer 52,17 wird geladen ... And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.

Jer 52,18 wird geladen ... The pots also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
