Vers

1 wird geladen ... In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.

2 wird geladen ... And Jehovah sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake by his servants the prophets.

3 wird geladen ... Surely at the commandment of Jehovah came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,

4 wird geladen ... and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Jehovah would not pardon.

5 wird geladen ... Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

6 wird geladen ... So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

7 wird geladen ... And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the brook of Egypt unto the river Euphrates, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.

8 wird geladen ... Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

9 wird geladen ... And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that his father had done.

10 wird geladen ... At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.

11 wird geladen ... And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came unto the city, while his servants were besieging it;

12 wird geladen ... and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his {Or, eunuchs}officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.

13 wird geladen ... And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah, as Jehovah had said.

14 wird geladen ... And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.

15 wird geladen ... And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his {Or, eunuchs}officers, and the {Or, mighty}chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

16 wird geladen ... And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

17 wird geladen ... And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king is his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.

18 wird geladen ... Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was {Hebrew: Hamital.}Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

19 wird geladen ... And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

20 wird geladen ... For through the anger of Jehovah did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence.
And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Jer 22,13 wird geladen ... Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by injustice; that useth his neighbor's service without wages, and giveth him not his hire;

Jer 22,14 wird geladen ... that saith, I will build me a wide house and spacious chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

Jer 22,15 wird geladen ... Shalt thou reign, because thou {Or, viest with the cedar}strivest to excel in cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? then it was well with him.

Jer 22,16 wird geladen ... He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this to know me? saith Jehovah.

Jer 22,17 wird geladen ... But thine eyes and thy heart are not but for thy {Or, dishonest gain}covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

Jer 26,1 wird geladen ... In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word from Jehovah, saying,

Jer 26,2 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah: Stand in the court of Jehovah's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in Jehovah's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word.

Jer 26,3 wird geladen ... It may be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way; that I may repent me of the evil which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

Jer 26,4 wird geladen ... And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah: If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,

Jer 26,5 wird geladen ... to hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send unto you, even rising up early and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;

Jer 26,6 wird geladen ... then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

Jer 26,7 wird geladen ... And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of Jehovah.

Jer 26,8 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.

Jer 26,9 wird geladen ... Why hast thou prophesied in the name of Jehovah, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah.

Jer 26,10 wird geladen ... And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house unto the house of Jehovah; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of Jehovah's house.

Jer 26,11 wird geladen ... Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.

Jer 26,12 wird geladen ... Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, Jehovah sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.

Jer 26,13 wird geladen ... Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of Jehovah your God; and Jehovah will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.

Jer 26,14 wird geladen ... But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes.

Jer 26,15 wird geladen ... Only know ye for certain that, if ye put me to death, ye will bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof; for of a truth Jehovah hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

Jer 26,16 wird geladen ... Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of Jehovah our God.

Jer 26,17 wird geladen ... Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying,

Jer 26,18 wird geladen ... {Hebrew: Micaiah.}Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

Jer 26,19 wird geladen ... Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? did he not fear Jehovah, and entreat the favor of Jehovah, and Jehovah repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus should we commit great evil against our own souls.

Jer 26,20 wird geladen ... And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of Jehovah, Uriah the son of Shemaiah of Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

Jer 26,21 wird geladen ... And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty-men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death; but when Uriah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt.

Jer 26,22 wird geladen ... And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him, into Egypt;

Jer 26,23 wird geladen ... and they fetched forth Uriah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king, who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the {Hebrew: sons of the people.}common people.

Jer 26,24 wird geladen ... But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
