Vers

1 wird geladen ... In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.

2 wird geladen ... And Jehovah sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake by his servants the prophets.

3 wird geladen ... Surely at the commandment of Jehovah came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,

4 wird geladen ... and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Jehovah would not pardon.

5 wird geladen ... Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

6 wird geladen ... So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

7 wird geladen ... And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the brook of Egypt unto the river Euphrates, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.

8 wird geladen ... Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

9 wird geladen ... And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that his father had done.

10 wird geladen ... At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.

11 wird geladen ... And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came unto the city, while his servants were besieging it;

12 wird geladen ... and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his {Or, eunuchs}officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.

13 wird geladen ... And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah, as Jehovah had said.

14 wird geladen ... And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.

15 wird geladen ... And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his {Or, eunuchs}officers, and the {Or, mighty}chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

16 wird geladen ... And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

17 wird geladen ... And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king is his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.

18 wird geladen ... Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was {Hebrew: Hamital.}Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

19 wird geladen ... And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

20 wird geladen ... For through the anger of Jehovah did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence.
And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Jer 37,1 wird geladen ... And Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned as king, instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.

Jer 37,2 wird geladen ... But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of Jehovah, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah.

Jer 37,3 wird geladen ... And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto Jehovah our God for us.

Jer 37,4 wird geladen ... Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people; for they had not put him into prison.

Jer 37,5 wird geladen ... And Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt; and when the Chaldeans that were besieging Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they brake up from Jerusalem.

Jer 37,6 wird geladen ... Then came the word of Jehovah unto the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

Jer 37,7 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me: Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

Jer 37,8 wird geladen ... And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city; and they shall take it, and burn it with fire.

Jer 37,9 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah, Deceive not {Hebrew: your souls.}yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us; for they shall not depart.

Jer 37,10 wird geladen ... For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but {Hebrew: thrust through.}wounded men among them, yet would they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

Jer 37,11 wird geladen ... And it came to pass that, when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,

Jer 37,12 wird geladen ... then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to receive his portion {Hebrew: from thence.}there, in the midst of the people.

Jer 37,13 wird geladen ... And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he laid hold on Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou art falling away to the Chaldeans.

Jer 37,14 wird geladen ... Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I am not falling away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him; so Irijah laid hold on Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Jer 37,15 wird geladen ... And the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe; for they had made that the prison.

Jer 37,16 wird geladen ... When Jeremiah was come into the {Or, house of the pit}dungeon-house, and into the cells, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;

Jer 37,17 wird geladen ... then Zedekiah the king sent, and fetched him: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. He said also, Thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Jer 37,18 wird geladen ... Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, Wherein have I sinned against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Jer 37,19 wird geladen ... Where now are your prophets that prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

Jer 37,20 wird geladen ... And now hear, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, {Hebrew: fall.}be presented before thee, that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

Jer 37,21 wird geladen ... Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard; and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

Hes 21,25 wird geladen ... And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the {Or, punishment}iniquity of the end,
