Now the serpentH5175 wasH1961 more subtilH6175 than any beastH2416 of the fieldH7704 which the LORDH3068 GodH430 had madeH6213. And he saidH559 unto the womanH802, YeaH637, hath GodH430 saidH559, Ye shall not eatH398 of every treeH6086 of the gardenH1588? {Yea…: Heb. Yea, because, etc.}
And the womanH802 saidH559 unto the serpentH5175, We may eatH398 of the fruitH6529 of the treesH6086 of the gardenH1588:
But of the fruitH6529 of the treeH6086 which is in the midstH8432 of the gardenH1588, GodH430 hath saidH559, Ye shall not eatH398 of it, neither shall ye touchH5060 it, lestH6435 ye dieH4191.
And the serpentH5175 saidH559 unto the womanH802, Ye shall not surelyH4191 dieH4191:
For GodH430 doth knowH3045 that in the dayH3117 ye eatH398 thereof, then your eyesH5869 shall be openedH6491, and ye shall be as godsH430, knowingH3045 goodH2896 and evilH7451.
And when the womanH802 sawH7200 that the treeH6086 was goodH2896 for foodH3978, and that itH1931 was pleasantH8378 to the eyesH5869, and a treeH6086 to be desiredH2530 to make one wiseH7919, she tookH3947 of the fruit thereofH6529, and did eatH398, and gaveH5414 alsoH1571 unto her husbandH376 with her; and he did eatH398. {pleasant: Heb. a desire}
And the eyesH5869 of them bothH8147 were openedH6491, and theyH1992 knewH3045 that they were nakedH5903; and they sewedH8609 figH8384 leavesH5929 togetherH8609, and made themselvesH6213 apronsH2290. {aprons: or, things to gird about}
And they heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 GodH430 walkingH1980 in the gardenH1588 in the coolH7307 of the dayH3117: and AdamH120 and his wifeH802 hid themselvesH2244 from the presenceH6440 of the LORDH3068 GodH430 amongstH8432 the treesH6086 of the gardenH1588. {cool: Heb. wind}
And the LORDH3068 GodH430 calledH7121 unto AdamH120, and saidH559 unto him, Where art thouH335?
And he saidH559, I heardH8085 thy voiceH6963 in the gardenH1588, and I was afraidH3372, because IH595 was nakedH5903; and I hid myselfH2244.
And he saidH559, WhoH4310 toldH5046 thee that thou wast nakedH5903? Hast thou eatenH398 of the treeH6086, whereof I commanded theeH6680 that thou shouldest notH1115 eatH398?
And the manH120 saidH559, The womanH802 whom thou gavestH5414 to be with meH5978, sheH1931 gaveH5414 me of the treeH6086, and I did eatH398.
And the LORDH3068 GodH430 saidH559 unto the womanH802, What is this that thou hast doneH6213? And the womanH802 saidH559, The serpentH5175 beguiled meH5377, and I did eatH398.
And the LORDH3068 GodH430 saidH559 unto the serpentH5175, Because thouH859 hast doneH6213 this, thou art cursedH779 above all cattleH929, and above every beastH2416 of the fieldH7704; upon thy bellyH1512 shalt thou goH3212, and dustH6083 shalt thou eatH398 all the daysH3117 of thy lifeH2416:
And I will putH7896 enmityH342 between thee and the womanH802, and between thy seedH2233 and her seedH2233; it shall bruiseH7779 thy headH7218, and thou shalt bruiseH7779 his heelH6119.
Unto the womanH802 he saidH559, I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 thy sorrowH6093 and thy conceptionH2032; in sorrowH6089 thou shalt bring forthH3205 childrenH1121; and thy desireH8669 shall be to thy husbandH376, and he shall ruleH4910 over thee. {to thy…: or, subject to thy husband}
And unto AdamH121 he saidH559, Because thou hast hearkenedH8085 unto the voiceH6963 of thy wifeH802, and hast eatenH398 of the treeH6086, of whichH834 I commanded theeH6680, sayingH559, Thou shalt not eatH398 of it: cursedH779 is the groundH127 for thy sake; in sorrowH6093 shalt thou eatH398 of it allH3605 the daysH3117 of thy lifeH2416;
Thorns alsoH6975 and thistlesH1863 shall it bring forthH6779 to thee; and thou shalt eatH398 the herbH6212 of the fieldH7704; {bring…: Heb. cause to bud}
In the sweatH2188 of thy faceH639 shalt thou eatH398 breadH3899, tillH5704 thou returnH7725 unto the groundH127; for out of it wast thou takenH3947: for dustH6083 thouH859 art, and unto dustH6083 shalt thou returnH7725.
And AdamH120 calledH7121 his wife'sH802 nameH8034 EveH2332; because she was the motherH517 of all livingH2416. {Eve: Heb. Chavah: that is Living}
Unto AdamH120 also and to his wifeH802 did the LORDH3068 GodH430 makeH6213 coatsH3801 of skinsH5785, and clothed themH3847.
And the LORDH3068 GodH430 saidH559, BeholdH2005, the manH120 is become as oneH259 of us, to knowH3045 goodH2896 and evilH7451: and now, lest he put forthH7971 his handH3027, and takeH3947 also of the treeH6086 of lifeH2416, and eatH398, and liveH2425 for everH5769:
Therefore the LORDH3068 GodH430 sent him forthH7971 from the gardenH1588 of EdenH5731, to tillH5647 the groundH127 from whence he was takenH3947.
So he drove outH1644 the manH120; and he placedH7931 at the eastH6924 of the gardenH1588 of EdenH5731 CherubimsH3742, and a flamingH3858 swordH2719 which turned every wayH2015, to keepH8104 the wayH1870 of the treeH6086 of lifeH2416.
And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,
SpeakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they bringH3947 me an offeringH8641: of every manH376 that giveth it willinglyH5068 with his heartH3820 ye shall takeH3947 my offeringH8641. {bring me: Heb. take for me} {offering: or, heave offering}
And this is the offeringH8641 which ye shall takeH3947 of them; goldH2091, and silverH3701, and brassH5178, {offering: or, heave offering}
And blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8438+H8144, and fine linenH8336, and goats'H5795 hair, {fine…: or, silk}
And rams'H352 skinsH5785 dyed redH119, and badgers'H8476 skinsH5785, and shittimH7848 woodH6086,
OilH8081 for the lightH3974, spicesH1314 for anointingH4888 oilH8081, and for sweetH5561 incenseH7004,
OnyxH7718 stonesH68, and stonesH68 to be setH4394 in the ephodH646, and in the breastplateH2833.
And let them makeH6213 me a sanctuaryH4720; that I may dwellH7931 amongH8432 them.
According to all that I shewH7200 thee, after the patternH8403 of the tabernacleH4908, and the patternH8403 of all the instrumentsH3627 thereof, even so shall ye makeH6213 it.
And they shall makeH6213 an arkH727 of shittimH7848 woodH6086: two cubitsH520 and a halfH2677 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the breadthH7341 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the heightH6967 thereof.
And thou shalt overlayH6823 it with pureH2889 goldH2091, withinH1004 and withoutH2351 shalt thou overlayH6823 it, and shalt makeH6213 upon it a crownH2213 of goldH2091 round aboutH5439.
And thou shalt castH3332 fourH702 ringsH2885 of goldH2091 for it, and putH5414 them in the fourH702 cornersH6471 thereof; and twoH8147 ringsH2885 shall be in the oneH259 sideH6763 of it, and twoH8147 ringsH2885 in the otherH8145 side of it.
And thou shalt makeH6213 stavesH905 of shittimH7848 woodH6086, and overlayH6823 them with goldH2091.
And thou shalt putH935 the stavesH905 into the ringsH2885 by the sidesH6763 of the arkH727, that the arkH727 may be borneH5375 with them.
The stavesH905 shall beH1961 in the ringsH2885 of the arkH727: they shall not be takenH5493 from it.
And thou shalt putH5414 into the arkH727 the testimonyH5715 which I shall giveH5414 thee.
And thou shalt makeH6213 a mercy seatH3727 of pureH2889 goldH2091: two cubitsH520 and a halfH2677 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the breadthH7341 thereof.
And thou shalt makeH6213 twoH8147 cherubimsH3742 of goldH2091, of beaten workH4749 shalt thou makeH6213 them, in the twoH8147 endsH7098 of the mercy seatH3727.
And makeH6213 oneH259 cherubH3742 on the one endH7098, and the otherH259 cherubH3742 on the otherH2088 endH7098: even of the mercy seatH3727 shall ye makeH6213 the cherubimsH3742 on the twoH8147 endsH7098 thereof. {of…: or, of the matter of the mercy seat}
And the cherubimsH3742 shall stretchH6566 forth their wingsH3671 on highH4605, coveringH5526 the mercy seatH3727 with their wingsH3671, and their facesH6440 shall look oneH376 to anotherH251; toward the mercy seatH3727 shall the facesH6440 of the cherubimsH3742 be.
And thou shalt putH5414 the mercy seatH3727 aboveH4605 upon the arkH727; and in the arkH727 thou shalt putH5414 the testimonyH5715 that I shall giveH5414 thee.
And there I will meetH3259 with thee, and I will communeH1696 with thee from above the mercy seatH3727, from betweenH996 the twoH8147 cherubimsH3742 which are uponH5921 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, of all things which I will give thee in commandmentH6680 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478.
Thou shalt also makeH6213 a tableH7979 of shittimH7848 woodH6086: two cubitsH520 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 the breadthH7341 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the heightH6967 thereof.
And thou shalt overlayH6823 it with pureH2889 goldH2091, and makeH6213 thereto a crownH2213 of goldH2091 round aboutH5439.
And thou shalt makeH6213 unto it a borderH4526 of an hand breadthH2948 round aboutH5439, and thou shalt makeH6213 a goldenH2091 crownH2213 to the borderH4526 thereof round aboutH5439.
And thou shalt makeH6213 for it fourH702 ringsH2885 of goldH2091, and putH5414 the ringsH2885 in the fourH702 cornersH6285 that are on the fourH702 feetH7272 thereof.
Over againstH5980 the borderH4526 shall the ringsH2885 be for placesH1004 of the stavesH905 to bearH5375 the tableH7979.
And thou shalt makeH6213 the stavesH905 of shittimH7848 woodH6086, and overlayH6823 them with goldH2091, that the tableH7979 may be borneH5375 with them.
And thou shalt makeH6213 the dishesH7086 thereof, and spoonsH3709 thereof, and coversH7184 thereof, and bowlsH4518 thereof, to coverH5258 withalH2004: of pureH2889 goldH2091 shalt thou makeH6213 them. {to…: or, to pour out withal}
And thou shalt setH5414 upon the tableH7979 shewbreadH3899 beforeH6440 me alwayH8548.
And thou shalt makeH6213 a candlestickH4501 of pureH2889 goldH2091: of beaten workH4749 shall the candlestickH4501 be madeH6213: his shaftH3409, and his branchesH7070, his bowlsH1375, his knopsH3730, and his flowersH6525, shall be of the same.
And sixH8337 branchesH7070 shall comeH3318 out of the sidesH6654 of it; threeH7969 branchesH7070 of the candlestickH4501 out of the oneH259 sideH6654, and threeH7969 branchesH7070 of the candlestickH4501 out of the otherH8145 sideH6654:
ThreeH7969 bowlsH1375 made like unto almondsH8246, with a knopH3730 and a flowerH6525 in oneH259 branchH7070; and threeH7969 bowlsH1375 made like almondsH8246 in the otherH259 branchH7070, with a knopH3730 and a flowerH6525: so in the sixH8337 branchesH7070 that comeH3318 out of the candlestickH4501.
And in the candlestickH4501 shall be fourH702 bowlsH1375 made like unto almondsH8246, with their knopsH3730 and their flowersH6525.
And there shall be a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, and a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, and a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, according to the sixH8337 branchesH7070 that proceedH3318 out of the candlestickH4501.
Their knopsH3730 and their branchesH7070 shall be of the same: all it shall be oneH259 beaten workH4749 of pureH2889 goldH2091.
And thou shalt makeH6213 the sevenH7651 lampsH5216 thereof: and they shall lightH5927 the lampsH5216 thereof, that they may give lightH215 over againstH5676 itH6440. {shall light: or, shall cause to ascend} {it: Heb. the face of it}
And the tongsH4457 thereof, and the snuffdishesH4289 thereof, shall be of pureH2889 goldH2091.
Of a talentH3603 of pureH2889 goldH2091 shall he makeH6213 it, with all these vesselsH3627.
And lookH7200 that thou makeH6213 them after their patternH8403, which was shewedH7200 thee in the mountH2022. {which…: Heb. which thou wast caused to see}
