A faithful man shall abound with blessings;But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished.
And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it {Some ancient authorities omit for them that trust the riches.}for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
not a novice, lest being puffed up he fall into the {Greek: judgment.}condemnation of the devil.
Moreover he must have good testimony from them that are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, {or, do ye now make an end in the flesh?}are ye now perfected in the flesh?
and they beckoned unto their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
