and he sent forth a raven, and it went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
The eye that mocketh at his father,And despiseth to obey his mother,The ravens of {Or, the brook}the valley shall pick it out,And the {Or, vultures}young eagles shall eat it.
But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it; and the {Or, bittern}owl and the raven shall dwell therein: and he will stretch over it the line of confusion, and the {Hebrew: stones.}plummet of emptiness.
His head is as the most fine gold;His locks are {Or, curling}bushy, and black as a raven.
every raven after its kind,
Who provideth for the raven his prey,When his young ones cry unto God, And wander for lack of food?
He giveth to the beast his food,And to the young ravens which cry.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before the Jordan.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:
Are not five sparrows sold for two pence? and not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded!
