There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines,And {Or, maidens}virgins without number.
My dove, my {Hebrew: perfect.}undefiled, is but one;She is the only one of her mother;She is the {Or, pure}choice one of her that bare her.The daughters saw her, and called her blessed;Yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof:
and the rib, which Jehovah God had taken from the man, {Hebrew: builded he into.}made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called {Hebrew: Isshah.}Woman, because she was taken out of {Hebrew: Ish.}Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

Jehovah will count, when he writeth up the peoples,This one was born there. [Selah
and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man {Or, whose name is the Bud; and it (or, they) shall bud forth under him}whose name is the {Or, Shoot Or, Sprout}Branch: and he shall {Or, shoot}grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;
And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
And the princes of the people dwelt in Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.
And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
Now as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord's feet, and heard his word.
But Martha was {Greek: distracted.}cumbered about much serving; and she came up to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister did leave me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
But the Lord answered and said unto her, {A few ancient authorities read Martha, Martha, thou art troubled. Mary hath chosen &c.}Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
{Many ancient authorities read but few things are needful, or one.}but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
So they made him a supper there: and Martha served; but Lazarus was one of them that {Greek: reclined}sat at meat with him.
