Vers

1 wird geladen ... And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: {Greek: saying.}and one said, Rise, and measure the {Or, sanctuary}temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 wird geladen ... And the court which is without the {Or, sanctuary}temple {Greek: cast without.}leave without, and measure it not; for it hath been given unto the {Or, Gentiles}nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3 wird geladen ... And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 wird geladen ... These are the two olive trees and the two {Greek: lampstands.}candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth.

5 wird geladen ... And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man shall desire to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed.

6 wird geladen ... These have the power to shut the heaven, that it rain not during the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they shall desire.

7 wird geladen ... And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

8 wird geladen ... And their {Greek: carcase.}dead bodies lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

9 wird geladen ... And from among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations do men look upon their {Greek: carcase.}dead bodies three days and a half, and suffer not their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

10 wird geladen ... And they that dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry; and they shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth.

11 wird geladen ... And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them.

12 wird geladen ... And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 wird geladen ... And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake {Greek: names of men, seven thousand. Compare chapter 3:4.}seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 wird geladen ... The second Woe is past: behold, the third Woe cometh quickly.

15 wird geladen ... And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said,
The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign {Greek: unto the ages of the ages}for ever and ever.

16 wird geladen ... And the four and twenty elders, who sit before God on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshipped God,

17 wird geladen ... saying,
We give thee thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who art and who wast; because thou hast taken thy great power, and didst reign.

18 wird geladen ... And the nations were wroth, and thy wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to thy {Greek: bondservants}servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth.

19 wird geladen ... And there was opened the {Or, sanctuary}temple of God that is in heaven; and there was seen in his {Or, sanctuary}temple the ark of his covenant; and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Off 8,13 wird geladen ... And I saw, and I heard {Greek: one eagle.}an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a great voice, Woe, woe, woe, for them that dwell on the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, who are yet to sound.

Off 16,2 wird geladen ... And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and {Or, there came}it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that {See marginal note on chapter 3:9}worshipped his image.

Off 16,3 wird geladen ... And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and {Or, there came}it became blood as of a dead man; and every {Greek: soul of life.}living soul died, even the things that were in the sea.

Off 16,4 wird geladen ... And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; {Some ancient authorities read and they became.}and {Or, there came}it became blood.

Off 16,5 wird geladen ... And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus {Or, judge. Because they…prophets, thou hast given them blood also to drink}judge:

Off 16,6 wird geladen ... for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.

Off 16,7 wird geladen ... And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

Off 16,8 wird geladen ... And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto {Or, him}it to scorch men with fire.

Off 16,9 wird geladen ... And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.

Off 16,10 wird geladen ... And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Off 16,11 wird geladen ... and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

Off 16,12 wird geladen ... And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising.

Off 16,13 wird geladen ... And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:

Off 16,14 wird geladen ... for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth {Or, upon}unto the kings of the whole {Greek: inhabited earth.}world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

Off 16,15 wird geladen ... (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)

Off 16,16 wird geladen ... And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew {Or, Ar-Magedon.}Har-Magedon.

Off 16,17 wird geladen ... And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the {Or, sanctuary}temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:

Off 16,18 wird geladen ... and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since {Some ancient authorities read there was a man.}there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

Off 16,19 wird geladen ... And the great city was divided into into three parts, and the cities of the {Or, Gentiles}nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Off 16,20 wird geladen ... And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Off 16,21 wird geladen ... And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.
