Vers

1 wird geladen ... And Jehovah spake unto Joshua, saying,

2 wird geladen ... Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Assign you the cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by Moses,

3 wird geladen ... that the manslayer that killeth any person {Or, through error}unwittingly and unawares may flee thither: and they shall be unto you for a refuge from the avenger of blood.

4 wird geladen ... And he shall flee unto one of those cities, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city, and declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city; and they shall {Hebrew: gather.}take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.

5 wird geladen ... And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver up the manslayer into his hand; because he smote his neighbor unawares, and hated him not beforetime.

6 wird geladen ... And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the manslayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled.

7 wird geladen ... And they {Hebrew: sanctified.}set apart Kedesh in {Hebrew: Galil.}Galilee in the hill-country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (the same is Hebron) in the hill-country of Judah.

8 wird geladen ... And beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness in the {Or, table-land}plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.

9 wird geladen ... These were the appointed cities for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person {Or, through error}unwittingly might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.

4Mo 35,17 wird geladen ... And if he smote him with a stone in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

4Mo 35,18 wird geladen ... Or if he smote him with a weapon of wood in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

4Mo 35,19 wird geladen ... The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death: when he meeteth him, he shall put him to death.

4Mo 35,20 wird geladen ... And if he thrust him of hatred, or hurled at him, lying in wait, so that he died,

4Mo 35,21 wird geladen ... or in enmity smote him with his hand, so that he died; he that smote him shall surely be put to death; he is a murderer: the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meeteth him.

4Mo 35,22 wird geladen ... But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or hurled upon him anything without lying in wait,

4Mo 35,23 wird geladen ... or with any stone, whereby a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, so that he died, and he was not his enemy, neither sought his harm;

4Mo 35,24 wird geladen ... then the congregation shall judge between the smiter and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances;

2Mo 21,14 wird geladen ... And if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

4Mo 35,6 wird geladen ... And the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which ye shall give for the manslayer to flee unto: and besides them ye shall give forty and two cities.

4Mo 35,11 wird geladen ... then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer that killeth any person unwittingly may flee thither.

4Mo 35,12 wird geladen ... And the cities shall be unto you for refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation for judgment.

4Mo 35,13 wird geladen ... And the cities which ye shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.

4Mo 35,14 wird geladen ... Ye shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan; they shall be cities of refuge.

5Mo 4,41 wird geladen ... Then Moses set apart three cities beyond the Jordan toward the sunrising;

5Mo 4,42 wird geladen ... that the manslayer might flee thither, that slayeth his neighbor unawares, and hated him not in time past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:

5Mo 4,43 wird geladen ... namely, Bezer in the wilderness, in the {Or, table-land}plain country, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.

5Mo 19,2 wird geladen ... thou shalt set apart three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it.

5Mo 19,3 wird geladen ... Thou shalt prepare thee the way, and divide the borders of thy land, which Jehovah thy God causeth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every manslayer may flee thither.

5Mo 19,4 wird geladen ... And this is the case of the manslayer, that shall flee thither and live: whoso killeth his neighbor unawares, and hated him not in time past;

5Mo 19,5 wird geladen ... as when a man goeth into the forest with his neighbor to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the {Hebrew: iron.}head slippeth from {Or, the tree}the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbor, so that he dieth; he shall flee unto one of these cities and live:

5Mo 19,6 wird geladen ... lest the avenger of blood pursue the manslayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and smite him mortally; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.

5Mo 19,7 wird geladen ... Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt set apart three cities for thee.

5Mo 19,8 wird geladen ... And if Jehovah thy God enlarge thy border, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;

5Mo 19,9 wird geladen ... if thou shalt keep all this commandment to do it, which I command thee this day, to love Jehovah thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, besides these three:

5Mo 19,10 wird geladen ... that {Or, the blood of an innocent man}innocent blood be not shed in the midst of thy land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

5Mo 19,11 wird geladen ... But if any man hate his neighbor, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally so that he dieth, and he flee into one of these cities;

5Mo 19,12 wird geladen ... then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

5Mo 19,13 wird geladen ... Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away {Or, the blood of the innocent}the innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

Heb 6,19 wird geladen ... which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
