1 wird geladen ... Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, {Hebrew: being yet shut up.}while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, his helpers in war.

2 wird geladen ... They {Or, drew the bow}were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in slinging stones and in shooting arrows from the bow: they were of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.

3 wird geladen ... The chief was Ahiezer; then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth, and Beracah, and Jehu the Anathothite,

4 wird geladen ... and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty, and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite,

5 wird geladen ... Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,

6 wird geladen ... Elkanah, and Isshiah, and Azarel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites,

7 wird geladen ... and Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

8 wird geladen ... And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David to the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for war, that could handle shield and spear; whose faces were like the faces of lions, and they were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

10 wird geladen ... Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

14 wird geladen ... These of the sons of Gad were captains of the host: he that was least was {Or, over}equal to a hundred, and the greatest {Or, over}to a thousand.

15 wird geladen ... These are they that went over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.

16 wird geladen ... And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the stronghold unto David.

17 wird geladen ... And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if ye be come to betray me to mine adversaries, seeing there is no {Or, violence}wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

Then the Spirit {Hebrew: clothed.}came upon Amasai, who was chief of the {Another reading is, captains.}thirty, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

19 wird geladen ... Of Manasseh also there fell away some to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not; for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall away to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.

20 wird geladen ... As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of thousands that were of Manasseh.

21 wird geladen ... And they helped David against the band of rovers: for they were all mighty men of valor, and were captains in the host.

22 wird geladen ... For from day to day men came to David to help him, until there was a great host, like the host of God.

23 wird geladen ... And these are the numbers of the heads of them that were armed for war, who came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of Jehovah.

24 wird geladen ... The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, armed for war.

25 wird geladen ... Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.

26 wird geladen ... Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.

27 wird geladen ... And Jehoiada was the leader of the house of Aaron; and with him were three thousand and seven hundred,

28 wird geladen ... and Zadok, a young man mighty of valor, and of his father's house twenty and two captains.

29 wird geladen ... And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had {Hebrew: kept the charge of the house.}kept their allegiance to the house of Saul.

30 wird geladen ... And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, famous men in their fathers' houses.

31 wird geladen ... And of the half-tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were mentioned by name, to come and make David king.

32 wird geladen ... And of the children of Issachar, men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

33 wird geladen ... Of Zebulun, such as were able to go out in the host, that could set the battle in array, with all manner of instruments of war, fifty thousand, and that could order the battle array, and were not of double heart.

34 wird geladen ... And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.

35 wird geladen ... And of the Danites that could set the battle in array, twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.

36 wird geladen ... And of Asher, such as were able to go out in the host, that could set the battle in array, forty thousand.

37 wird geladen ... And on the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half-tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, a hundred and twenty thousand.

38 wird geladen ... All these being men of war, that could order the battle array, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

39 wird geladen ... And they were there with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had made preparation for them.

40 wird geladen ... Moreover they that were nigh unto them, even as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, victuals of meal, cakes of figs, and clusters of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep in abundance: for there was joy in Israel.

Jos 13,11 wird geladen ... and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah;

Jos 13,12 wird geladen ... all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.

Jos 13,13 wird geladen ... Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

Jos 13,14 wird geladen ... Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.

Jos 13,15 wird geladen ... And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

Jos 13,16 wird geladen ... And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the {Or, table-land}plain by Medeba;

Jos 13,17 wird geladen ... Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the {Or, table-land}plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,

Jos 13,18 wird geladen ... and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

Jos 13,19 wird geladen ... and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley,

Jos 13,20 wird geladen ... and Beth-peor, and the {Or, springs}slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,

Jos 13,21 wird geladen ... and all the cities of the {Or, table-land}plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.

Jos 13,22 wird geladen ... Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.

Jos 13,23 wird geladen ... And the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

Jos 13,24 wird geladen ... And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.

Jos 13,25 wird geladen ... And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

Jos 13,26 wird geladen ... and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of {Or, Lidebir}Debir;

Jos 13,27 wird geladen ... and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, {Or, having the Jordan for a border}the Jordan and the border thereof, unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

Jos 13,28 wird geladen ... This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

Jos 13,29 wird geladen ... And Moses gave inheritance unto the half-tribe of Manasseh: and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

Jos 13,30 wird geladen ... And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:

Jos 13,31 wird geladen ... and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

Jos 13,32 wird geladen ... These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

Jos 14,3 wird geladen ... For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half-tribe beyond the Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave no inheritance among them.

Jos 22,1 wird geladen ... Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh,

Jos 22,2 wird geladen ... and said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, and have hearkened unto my voice in all that I commanded you:

Jos 22,4 wird geladen ... And now Jehovah your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he spake unto them: therefore now turn ye, and get you unto your tents, unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave you beyond the Jordan.

Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, to love Jehovah your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Jos 22,6 wird geladen ... So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away; and they went unto their tents.

Jos 22,7 wird geladen ... Now to the one half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given inheritance in Bashan; but unto the other half gave Joshua among their brethren beyond the Jordan westward. Moreover when Joshua sent them away unto their tents, he blessed them,

Jos 22,8 wird geladen ... and spake unto them, saying, Return with much wealth unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.

Jos 22,9 wird geladen ... And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

Jos 22,10 wird geladen ... And when they came unto the region about the Jordan, that is in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by the Jordan, a great altar to look upon.
