Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through {Or, a man}man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),
and all the brethren that are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
Grace to you and peace {Some ancient authorities read from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.}from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,
God is faithful, through whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
and not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in the matter of this grace, which is ministered by us to the glory of the Lord, and to show our readiness:
Whether any inquire about Titus, he is my partner and my fellow-worker to you-ward; or our brethren, they are the {Greek: apostles.}messengers of the churches, they are the glory of Christ.
And as they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, {Psalms 116:10.}I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak;
And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
