Vers

1 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2 wird geladen ... But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

3 wird geladen ... and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.

4 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk.

5 wird geladen ... But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

6 wird geladen ... Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes—

7 wird geladen ... they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the same maiden, to profane my holy name:

8 wird geladen ... and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.

9 wird geladen ... Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

10 wird geladen ... Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

11 wird geladen ... And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.

12 wird geladen ... But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

13 wird geladen ... Behold, {Or, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves}I will press you in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.

14 wird geladen ... And {Or, refuge shall fail the swift}flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver {Hebrew: his soul (or, life).}himself;

15 wird geladen ... neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver {Hebrew: his soul (or, life).}himself;

16 wird geladen ... and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.

2Kön 7,12 wird geladen ... And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive, and get into the city.

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left {Hebrew: in it.}in the city (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it; behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are consumed); and let us send and see.

2Kön 7,14 wird geladen ... They took therefore two chariots with horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.

2Kön 7,15 wird geladen ... And they went after them unto the Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

2Kön 7,16 wird geladen ... And the people went out, and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of Jehovah.

2Kön 7,17 wird geladen ... And the king appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trod upon him in the gate, and he died as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

2Kön 7,18 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to-morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;

2Kön 7,19 wird geladen ... and that captain answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if Jehovah should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? and he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof:

2Kön 7,20 wird geladen ... it came to pass even so unto him; for the people trod upon him in the gate, and he died.
