Vers

1 wird geladen ... And Jacob called unto his sons, and said: Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the latter days.

2 wird geladen ... Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob;
And hearken unto Israel your father.

3 wird geladen ... Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the {Or, first-fruits}beginning of my strength;
The pre-eminence of dignity, and the pre-eminence of power.

4 wird geladen ... Boiling over as water, {Or, have not thou}thou shalt not have the pre-eminence;
Because thou wentest up to thy father's bed;
Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

5 wird geladen ... Simeon and Levi are brethren;
Weapons of violence are their {Or, compacts}swords.

6 wird geladen ... O my soul, come not thou into their {Or, secret}council;
Unto their assembly, my glory, be not thou united;
For in their anger they slew {Or, men}a man,
And in their self-will they hocked {Or, oxen}an ox.

7 wird geladen ... Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce;
And their wrath, for it was cruel:
I will divide them in Jacob,
And scatter them in Israel.

8 wird geladen ... Judah, thee shall thy brethren praise:
Thy hand shall be on the neck of thine enemies;
Thy father's sons shall bow down before thee.

9 wird geladen ... Judah is a lion's whelp;
From the prey, my son, thou art gone up:
He stooped down, he couched as a lion,
And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up?

10 wird geladen ... The sceptre shall not depart from Judah,
Nor {Or, a lawgiver}the ruler's staff from between his feet,
{Or, Til he come to Shiloh, having the obedience of the peoples Or, according to Syriac, Til he come whose it is &c.}Until Shiloh come:
And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.

And his ass's colt unto the choice vine;
He hath washed his garments in wine,
And his vesture in the blood of grapes:

12 wird geladen ... His eyes shall be red with wine,
And his teeth white with milk.

13 wird geladen ... Zebulun shall dwell at the {Hebrew: beach.}haven of the sea;
And he shall be for a {Hebrew: beach.}haven of ships;
And his border shall be {Or, by}upon Sidon.

14 wird geladen ... Issachar is a strong ass,
Couching down between the sheepfolds:

15 wird geladen ... And he saw {Or, rest}a resting-place that it was good,
And the land that it was pleasant;
And he bowed his shoulder to bear,
And became a servant under taskwork.

16 wird geladen ... Dan shall judge his people,
As one of the tribes of Israel.

17 wird geladen ... Dan shall be a serpent in the way,
An {Or, horned snake}adder in the path,
That biteth the horse's heels,
So that his rider falleth backward.

18 wird geladen ... I have waited for thy salvation, O Jehovah.

19 wird geladen ... Gad, {Hebrew: gedud, a marauding band.}a troop {Hebrew: gad, to press.}shall press upon him;
But he shall press upon their heel.

20 wird geladen ... Out of Asher his bread shall be fat,
And he shall yield royal dainties.

21 wird geladen ... Naphtali is a hind let loose:
He giveth goodly words.

22 wird geladen ... Joseph is {Hebrew: the son of a fruitful tree.}a fruitful bough,
A fruitful bough by a fountain;
His {Hebrew: daughters.}branches run over the wall.

23 wird geladen ... The archers have sorely grieved him,
And shot at him, and persecuted him:

24 wird geladen ... But his bow abode in strength,
And the arms of his hands were made {Or, active}strong,
By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob
( {Or, From hence from the shepherd Or, as otherwise read, By the name of the shepherd}From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),

25 wird geladen ... Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee,
And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee,
With blessings of heaven above,
Blessings of the deep that coucheth beneath,
Blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.

26 wird geladen ... The blessings of thy father
Have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors
Unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills:
They shall be on the head of Joseph,
And on the crown of the head of him {Or, that is prince among}that was separate from his brethren.

27 wird geladen ... Benjamin is a wolf that raveneth:
In the morning she shall devour the prey,
And at even he shall divide the spoil.

28 wird geladen ... All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

29 wird geladen ... And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

30 wird geladen ... in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place.

31 wird geladen ... There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah—

32 wird geladen ... the field and the cave that is therein, which was purchased from the children of Heth.

33 wird geladen ... And when Jacob made an end of charging his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

Ri 14,1 wird geladen ... And Samson went down to Timnah, and saw a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines.

Ri 14,2 wird geladen ... And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.

Ri 14,3 wird geladen ... Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Ri 14,4 wird geladen ... But his father and his mother knew not that it was of Jehovah; for he sought an occasion against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines had rule over Israel.

Ri 14,5 wird geladen ... Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnah, and came to the vineyards of Timnah: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.

Ri 14,6 wird geladen ... And the Spirit of Jehovah came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid; and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

Ri 14,7 wird geladen ... And he went down, and talked with the woman, and she pleased Samson well.

Ri 14,8 wird geladen ... And after a while he returned to take her; and he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees in the body of the lion, and honey.

Ri 14,9 wird geladen ... And he took it into his hands, and went on, eating as he went; and he came to his father and mother, and gave unto them, and they did eat: but he told them not that he had taken the honey out of the body of the lion.

Ri 14,10 wird geladen ... And his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.

Ri 14,11 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

Ri 14,12 wird geladen ... And Samson said unto them, Let me now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can declare it unto me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of raiment;

Ri 14,13 wird geladen ... but if ye cannot declare it unto me, then shall ye give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of raiment. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.

Ri 14,14 wird geladen ... And he said unto them,Out of the eater came forth food,And out of the strong came forth sweetness.And they could not in three days declare the riddle.

Ri 14,15 wird geladen ... And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire: have ye called us to {Or, take that which we have}impoverish us? is it not so?

Ri 16,23 wird geladen ... And the lords of the Philistines gathered them together to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice; for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

Ri 16,24 wird geladen ... And when the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hand our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, who hath slain many of us.

Ri 16,25 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison-house; and he made sport before them. And they set him between the pillars:

Ri 16,26 wird geladen ... and Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house resteth, that I may lean upon them.

Ri 16,27 wird geladen ... Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

Ri 16,28 wird geladen ... And Samson called unto Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may {Or, be avenged…for one of my two eyes}be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

Ri 16,29 wird geladen ... And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house rested, and leaned upon them, the one with his right hand, and the other with his left.

Ri 16,30 wird geladen ... And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead that he slew at his death were more than they that he slew in his life.

Ri 18,22 wird geladen ... When they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men that were in the houses near to Micah's house were gathered together, and overtook the children of Dan.

Ri 18,24 wird geladen ... And he said, ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and are gone away, and what have I more? and how then say ye unto me, What aileth thee?

Ri 18,25 wird geladen ... And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not thy voice be heard among us, lest {Hebrew: bitter of soul.}angry fellows fall upon you, and thou lose thy life, with the lives of thy household.

Ri 18,26 wird geladen ... And the children of Dan went their way: and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back unto his house.

Ri 18,27 wird geladen ... And they took that which Micah had made, and the priest whom he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people quiet and secure, and smote them with the edge of the sword; and they burnt the city with fire.

Ri 18,28 wird geladen ... And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Sidon, and they had no dealings with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by Beth-rehob. And they built the city, and dwelt therein.

Ri 18,29 wird geladen ... And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel: howbeit the name of the city was Laish at the first.

Ri 18,30 wird geladen ... And the children of Dan set up for themselves the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of {Another reading is, Manasseh.}Moses, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land.

Ri 18,31 wird geladen ... So they set them up Micah's graven image which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.
