And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew {Or, Ar-Magedon.}Har-Magedon.
Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew {Some ancient authorities read Bethsaida, others Bethzatha.}Bethesda, having five porches.
When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment-seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.
They took Jesus therefore: and he went out, bearing the cross for himself, unto the place called The place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha:
This title therefore read many of the Jews, {Or, for the place of the city where Jesus was crucified was nigh at hand}for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city; and it was written in Hebrew, and in Latin, and in Greek.
Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turneth herself, and saith unto him in Hebrew, Rabboni; which is to say, Teacher.
Sheol is naked before {Hebrew: him.}God,And {Or, Destruction}Abaddon hath no covering.
Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave?Or thy faithfulness in {Hebrew: Abaddon. See Job 26:6.}Destruction?
Sheol and {Or, Destruction}Abaddon are before Jehovah:How much more then the hearts of the children of men!
