Versliste
For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah:Thou art my trust from my youth.
By thee have I been holden up from the womb;Thou {Or, hast been my benefactor from &c.}art he that took me out of my mother's bowels:My praise shall be continually of thee.
I am as a wonder unto many;But thou art my strong refuge.
My mouth shall be filled with thy praise,And with thy honor all the day.
Cast me not off in the time of old age;Forsake me not when my strength faileth.

and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
yea, they shall be afraid {Or, of danger from on high}of that which is high, and terrors shall be in the way; and the almond-tree shall blossom, and the grasshopper {Or, shall drag itself along}shall be a burden, and {Or, the caperberry}desire shall {Or, burst}fail; because man goeth to his everlasting home, and the mourners go about the streets:
and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.
Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
