Versliste
Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a {Greek: bondservant.}servant, {Greek: becoming in.}being made in the likeness of men;
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.
Then said I, Lo, I am come(In the roll of the book it is written of me)To do thy will, O God.
And he received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
Blessed are those {Greek: bondservants.}servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.
But we behold him who hath been made {Or, for a little while lower}a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.
Then said I, Lo, I am come(In the roll of the book it is written of me)To do thy will, O God.
And he that sent me is with me; he hath not left me alone; for I do always the things that are pleasing to him.
saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
