And they, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently {See chapter 3:19.}deliver him unto them.
These things said his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man should confess him to be Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
And he said, The Jews have agreed to ask thee to bring down Paul tomorrow unto the council, as though thou wouldest inquire somewhat more exactly concerning him.
And the Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that these things were so.
and said, What are ye willing to give me, and I will {See chapter 10:4.}deliver him unto you? And they weighed unto him thirty pieces of silver.
