How much less when thou sayest {Or, thou beholdest him not! The cause is before him, therefore wait thou for him}thou beholdest him not,The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!
But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, {Or, Thou sayest, He doth not greatly regard arrogance. Thus doth &c.}Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;
Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity;He multiplieth words without knowledge.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was {Hebrew: Iyob.}Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil.
And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? {Or, that}for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil.

I would set my cause in order before him,And fill my mouth with arguments.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?
nor height, nor depth, nor any other {Or, creation}creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
