1 wird geladen ... The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

2 wird geladen ... When Jehovah spake at the first {Or, with}by Hosea, Jehovah said unto Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredom and children of whoredom; for the land doth commit great whoredom, departing from Jehovah.

3 wird geladen ... So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bare him a son.

4 wird geladen ... And Jehovah said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will {Hebrew: visit.}avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.

5 wird geladen ... And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.

6 wird geladen ... And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And Jehovah said unto him, Call her name {That is, That hath not obtained mercy.}Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.

7 wird geladen ... But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

8 wird geladen ... Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.

9 wird geladen ... And Jehovah said, Call his name {That is, Not my people.}Lo-ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be {Hebrew: for you.}your God.

10 wird geladen ... {[Chapter 2:1 in Hebrew]}Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, {Or, instead of that which was said}in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

2Kön 17,24 wird geladen ... And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Avva, and from Hamath and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

2Kön 17,25 wird geladen ... And so it was, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared not Jehovah: therefore Jehovah sent lions among them, which killed some of them.

Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast carried away, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the law of the god of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the law of the god of the land.

2Kön 17,27 wird geladen ... Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the law of the god of the land.

2Kön 17,28 wird geladen ... So one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Beth-el, and taught them how they should fear Jehovah.

2Kön 17,29 wird geladen ... Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.

2Kön 17,30 wird geladen ... And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,

2Kön 17,31 wird geladen ... and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the {Or, god}gods of Sepharvaim.

2Kön 17,32 wird geladen ... So they feared Jehovah, and made unto them from among themselves priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.

2Kön 17,33 wird geladen ... They feared Jehovah, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.

2Kön 17,34 wird geladen ... Unto this day they do after the former manner: they fear not Jehovah, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law or after the commandment which Jehovah commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;

2Kön 17,35 wird geladen ... with whom Jehovah had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:

2Kön 17,36 wird geladen ... but Jehovah, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm, him shall ye fear, and unto him shall ye bow yourselves, and to him shall ye sacrifice:

2Kön 17,37 wird geladen ... and the statutes and the ordinances, and the law and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods:

2Kön 17,38 wird geladen ... and the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods:

2Kön 17,39 wird geladen ... but Jehovah your God shall ye fear; and he will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

2Kön 17,41 wird geladen ... So these nations feared Jehovah, and served their graven images; their children likewise, and their children's children, as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

Jes 27,11 wird geladen ... When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have compassion upon them, and he that formed them will show them no favor.
