Vers

1 wird geladen ... For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.
Hear this, all ye peoples;
Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world,

2 wird geladen ... Both low and high,
Rich and poor together.

3 wird geladen ... My mouth shall speak wisdom;
And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

4 wird geladen ... I will incline mine ear to a parable:
I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

5 wird geladen ... Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil,
When {Or, the iniquity of them that would supplant me compasseth me about, Even of them that trust…riches?}iniquity at my heels compasseth me about?

6 wird geladen ... They that trust in their wealth,
And boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

7 wird geladen ... None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him;

8 wird geladen ... (For the redemption of their life is costly,
And it faileth for ever),

9 wird geladen ... That he should still live alway,
That he should not see {Or, the pit}corruption.

10 wird geladen ... For {Or, he seeth that wise men &c.}he shall see it. Wise men die;
The fool and the brutish alike perish,
And leave their wealth to others.

11 wird geladen ... Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever,
And their dwelling-places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.

12 wird geladen ... But man being in honor abideth not:
He is like the beasts that perish.

13 wird geladen ... This {Or, is the way of them that are foolish}their way is {Or, their confidence: and after &c.}their folly:
Yet after them men approve their sayings. [Selah

14 wird geladen ... They are appointed as a flock for Sheol;
Death shall be their shepherd;
And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning;
And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume,
That there be no habitation for it.

15 wird geladen ... But God will redeem my soul from the {Hebrew: hand.}power of Sheol;
For he will receive me. [Selah

16 wird geladen ... Be not thou afraid when one is made rich,
When the {Or, wealth}glory of his house is increased:

17 wird geladen ... For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away;
His glory shall not descend after him.

18 wird geladen ... Though while he lived he blessed his soul
(And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself),

19 wird geladen ... {Hebrew: Thou shall go, or, It shall go.}He shall go to the generation of his fathers;
{Or, Who never more see}They shall never see the light.

20 wird geladen ... Man that is in honor, and understandeth not,
Is like the beasts that perish.

And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

Ps 73,19 wird geladen ... How are they become a desolation in a moment!They are utterly consumed with terrors.

Est 7,10 wird geladen ... So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.

Pred 3,18 wird geladen ... {Or, I said in my heart concerning the sons of men, It is God &c.}I said in my heart, It is because of the sons of men, that God may prove them, and that they may see that they themselves are but as beasts.
