1 wird geladen ... After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, {Or, thy reward shall be exceeding great}and thy exceeding great reward.

2 wird geladen ... And Abram said, O Lord Jehovah, what wilt thou give me, seeing I {Or, go hence}go childless, and he that shall be possessor of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?

3 wird geladen ... And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house in mine heir.

4 wird geladen ... And, behold, the word of Jehovah came unto him, saying, This man shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

5 wird geladen ... And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

6 wird geladen ... And he believed in Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness.

7 wird geladen ... And he said unto him, I am Jehovah that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

8 wird geladen ... And he said, O Lord Jehovah, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

9 wird geladen ... And he said unto him, Take me a heifer three years old, and a she-goat three years old, and a ram three years old, and a turtle-dove, and a young pigeon.

10 wird geladen ... And he took him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each half over against the other: but the birds divided he not.

11 wird geladen ... And the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.

12 wird geladen ... And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.

13 wird geladen ... And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 wird geladen ... and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge; and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 wird geladen ... But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 wird geladen ... And in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.

17 wird geladen ... And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold, a smoking furnace, and a flaming torch that passed between these pieces.

18 wird geladen ... In that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

19 wird geladen ... the Kenite, and the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite,

20 wird geladen ... and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Rephaim,

21 wird geladen ... and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.

2Mo 5,4 wird geladen ... And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, loose the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

2Mo 5,5 wird geladen ... And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land are now many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

2Mo 5,6 wird geladen ... And the same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

2Mo 5,7 wird geladen ... Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

2Mo 5,8 wird geladen ... And the number of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish aught thereof: for they are idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.

2Mo 5,9 wird geladen ... Let heavier work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard lying words.

2Mo 5,10 wird geladen ... And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.

2Mo 5,11 wird geladen ... Go yourselves, get you straw where ye can find it: for nought of your work shall be diminished.

2Mo 5,12 wird geladen ... So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble for straw.

2Mo 5,13 wird geladen ... And the taskmasters were urgent saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.

2Mo 5,14 wird geladen ... And the officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, {Hebrew: saying.}and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task both yesterday and to-day, in making brick as heretofore?

2Mo 5,15 wird geladen ... Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?

2Mo 5,16 wird geladen ... There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault it in thine own people.

2Mo 5,17 wird geladen ... But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and sacrifice to Jehovah.

2Mo 5,18 wird geladen ... Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the number of bricks.

2Mo 5,19 wird geladen ... And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they {Or, were set on mischief, when they said}were in evil case, when it was said, Ye shall not diminish aught from your bricks, your daily tasks.

2Mo 5,21 wird geladen ... and they said unto them, Jehovah look upon you, and judge: because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

2Mo 5,22 wird geladen ... And Moses returned unto Jehovah, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou dealt ill with this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?

2Mo 5,23 wird geladen ... For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath dealt ill with this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
