Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed {Or, his cause}himself to him that judgeth righteously:
{Or, behold, our God &c. Or, If our God whom we serve be able to deliver us, he will deliver us from…and out of thy hand, O King}If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of thy hand, O king.
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.
Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the {Or, refuse}filth of the world, the offscouring of all things, even until now.
I write not these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
So when the Samaritans came unto him, they besought him to abide with them: and he abode there two days.
But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.
But let all things be done decently and in order.
