When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?
But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,
and killed the {Or, Author}Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; {Or, of whom}whereof we are witnesses.
They cried out therefore again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may {Or, have abundance}have it abundantly.
And there was one called Barabbas, lying bound with them that had made insurrection, men who in the insurrection had committed murder.

and through him to reconcile all things {Or, into him}unto {Or, him}himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. {Or, When one speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for his father also is a liar.}When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found {Or, void}vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
