And Jesus perceiving it withdrew from thence: and many followed him; and he healed them all,
And straightway the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness.
And Jesus with his disciples withdrew to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed; and from Judæa,
And he saith unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
And after he had taken leave of them, he departed into the mountain to pray.
And from thence he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre {Some ancient authorities omit and Sidon.}and Sidon. And he entered into a house, and would have no man know it; and he could not be hid.
And again he went out from the borders of Tyre, and came through Sidon unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of Decapolis.
And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and {Or, Jacob}James, and John, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them;
And he arose from thence and cometh into the borders of Judæa and beyond the Jordan: and multitudes come together unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.
