and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary that was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
{The two oldest Greek manuscripts, and some other authorities, omit from verse 9 to the end. Some other authorities have a different ending to the Gospel.}Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, there met him two {Or, demoniacs}possessed with demons, coming forth out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man could pass by that way.
And when he was come forth upon the land, there met him a certain man out of the city, who had demons; and for a long time he had worn no clothes, and abode not in any house, but in the tombs.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
What shall I render unto JehovahFor all his benefits toward me?
