Versliste
They took Jesus therefore: and he went out, bearing the cross for himself, unto the place called The place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha:
saying, These last have spent but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, who have borne the burden of the day and the {Or, hot wind}scorching heat.
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
For each man shall bear his own {Or, load}burden.
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved; to fill up their sins always: but the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
Else if thou bless with the spirit, how shall he that filleth the place of {Or, him that is without gifts: and so in verse 23, 24}the unlearned say the Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he knoweth not what thou sayest?
