Versliste
Elihu also proceeded, and said,
{Hebrew: Wait for.}Suffer me a little, and I will show thee; For {Hebrew: there are yet words for God.}I have yet somewhat to say on God's behalf.
I will fetch my knowledge from afar,And will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
For truly my words are not false:One that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?
Jehovah appeared {Or, from afar}of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore {Or, have I continued lovingkindness unto thee}with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without {Or, doubtfulness Or, partiality}variance, without hypocrisy.
But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness.
Behold, {Or, I am according to thy wish in God's stead}I am toward God even as thou art:I also am formed out of the clay.
