Versliste
If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it become holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah; this is holy for the priest, together with the wave-breast and heave- {Or, shoulder}thigh: and after that the Nazirite may drink wine.
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
And the anointed priest that shall be in his stead from among his sons shall offer it: by a statute for ever it shall be wholly burnt unto Jehovah.
Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in a holy place: it is most holy.
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his oblation; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
But if the sacrifice of his oblation be a vow, or a freewill-offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offereth his sacrifice; and on the morrow that which remaineth of it shall be eaten:
And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar; but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.
And the right {Or, shoulder}thigh shall ye give unto the priest for a heave-offering out of the sacrifices of your peace-offerings.
He among the sons of Aaron that offereth the blood of the peace-offerings, and the fat, shall have the right {Or, shoulder}thigh for a portion.
For the wave-breast and the heave- {Or, shoulder}thigh have I taken of the children of Israel out of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons as their portion for ever from the children of Israel.
This is the oblation of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto Jehovah in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal-offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half thereof in the evening.
And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.
Dead flies cause the oil of the perfumer {Or, to stink and putrefy}to send forth an evil odor; so doth a little folly {Or, him that is valued for wisdom}outweigh wisdom and honor.
