And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleaning of thy harvest.
And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the fallen fruit of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am Jehovah your God.
{Or, The pastures…do drop}They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness;And the hills are girded with joy.
And at meal-time Boaz said unto her, Come hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers, and {Or, he}they reached her parched grain, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left thereof.
And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not.
And also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it, and let her glean, and rebuke her not.
