Jehovah, how are mine adversaries increased!
Many are they that rise up against me.

There is no {Or, salvation}help for him in God.

3 wird geladen ... But thou, O Jehovah, art a shield about me;
My glory and the lifter up of my head.

4 wird geladen ... I cry unto Jehovah with my voice,
And he answereth me out of his holy hill. [Selah

5 wird geladen ... I laid me down and slept;
I awaked; for Jehovah sustaineth me.

6 wird geladen ... I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people
That have set themselves against me round about.

7 wird geladen ... Arise, O Jehovah; Save me, O my God:
For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone;
Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.

Thy blessing be upon thy people.

2Sam 15,1 wird geladen ... And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him a chariot and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

2Sam 15,7 wird geladen ... And it came to pass at the end of {According to Syriac and some ancient editions of Septuagint Version, four.}forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto Jehovah, in Hebron.

2Sam 15,8 wird geladen ... For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in {Hebrew: Aram.}Syria, saying, If Jehovah shall indeed bring me again to Jerusalem, then I will {Or, worship}serve Jehovah.

2Sam 15,9 wird geladen ... And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

2Sam 15,10 wird geladen ... But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom is king in Hebron.

2Sam 15,11 wird geladen ... And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were invited, and went in their simplicity; and they knew not anything.

2Sam 15,14 wird geladen ... And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for else none of us shall escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
