7 wird geladen ... Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

8 wird geladen ... Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over {Or, the choirs}the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

9 wird geladen ... Also Bakbukiah and Unno, their brethren, were over against them according to their offices.

10 wird geladen ... And Jeshua begat Joiakim, and Joiakim begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

11 wird geladen ... and Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.

12 wird geladen ... And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers' houses: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

22 wird geladen ... As for the Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, there were recorded the heads of fathers' houses; also the priests, {Or, to}in the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 wird geladen ... The sons of Levi, heads of fathers' houses, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

24 wird geladen ... And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, watch next to watch.

25 wird geladen ... Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the watch at the store-houses of the gates.

26 wird geladen ... These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest the scribe.

27 wird geladen ... And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

28 wird geladen ... And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the {Or, Circuit}plain round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites;

29 wird geladen ... also from Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.

30 wird geladen ... And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31 wird geladen ... Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies that gave thanks and went in procession; whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

32 wird geladen ... and after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,

33 wird geladen ... and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34 wird geladen ... Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

35 wird geladen ... and certain of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;

36 wird geladen ... and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was before them.

37 wird geladen ... And by the fountain gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

38 wird geladen ... And the other company of them that gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people, upon the wall, above the tower of the furnaces, even unto the broad wall,

39 wird geladen ... and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the old gate, and by the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of {Or, The hundred}Hammeah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the gate of the guard.

40 wird geladen ... So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the {Or, deputies}rulers with me;

41 wird geladen ... and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

42 wird geladen ... and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

43 wird geladen ... And they offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

44 wird geladen ... And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions {Hebrew: of the law.}appointed by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that {Hebrew: stood.}waited.

45 wird geladen ... And they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and so did the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

46 wird geladen ... For in the days of David and Asaph of old {Another reading is, there were chiefs.}there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

47 wird geladen ... And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, as every day required: and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.

4Mo 19,5 wird geladen ... And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

4Mo 19,6 wird geladen ... and the priest shall take cedar-wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

4Mo 19,7 wird geladen ... Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

4Mo 19,8 wird geladen ... And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.

4Mo 19,9 wird geladen ... And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin-offering.

4Mo 19,10 wird geladen ... And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

4Mo 19,11 wird geladen ... He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

4Mo 19,12 wird geladen ... the same shall purify himself therewith on the third day, {Or, and on the seventh day, so shall he be clean}and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, {Or, and}then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

4Mo 19,13 wird geladen ... Whosoever toucheth a dead person, the body of a man that hath died, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

4Mo 19,14 wird geladen ... This is the law when a man dieth in a tent: every one that cometh into the tent, and every one that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

4Mo 19,15 wird geladen ... And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

4Mo 19,16 wird geladen ... And whosoever in the open field toucheth one that is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

4Mo 19,17 wird geladen ... And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin-offering; and {Hebrew: living.}running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

4Mo 19,18 wird geladen ... and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:

4Mo 19,19 wird geladen ... and the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

4Mo 19,20 wird geladen ... But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah: the water for impurity hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

2Chr 29,5 wird geladen ... and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Jehovah, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt-offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
